I can't commend Bay Islands Computer Services enough for their prompt and inexpensive repair of my HP Pavillion all in one desktop. The computer had been "knocked over" by my children and refused to boot up. It had only been returned from a warranty repair with a mainland computer company about a month previously. That service had taken 8 weeks and was a complete nightmare. Knowing that the warranty would not cover this "self inflicted" damage, I followed a recommendation on WOMO and went local. I couldn't have been happier.
I rang Sam at around midday and within an hour I'd dropped the computer off to him. Little more than an hour later I received a phone call advising that the computer needed a new hard drive. An incredibly reasonable quote was given and work commenced on the repair. I collected the working computer at 8.00 p.m. and parted with less than $100.00 for the repair, which included the new hard drive. Bay Islands Computer Services can be assured of my future business.

Had a bit of trouble with my laptop after moving to Macleay Island, I found a flyer on the Jetty Noticeboard for Bay Islands Computer Service and was astounded by their cheap pricing. After giving them a call, I was surprised to find they could service my computer the same day.
I would recommend them to anyone, their service was impeccable and they made my computer a lot faster as well, all for a very reasonable price.

Thanks for this useful review. I live on Russell Island and am presently having trouble with one of my computers. The new anti-virus program I've installed has slowed my computer down terribly. The same day service sounds amazing and the price exceptional. I'll certainly check them out.
