I contacted Scott for an urgent building and pest report. He was the only one who agreed to come out the next day on a Sunday to do the inspection. He was punctual, took the time to do a thorough inspection, explained and answered all our queries on the day, and within 24 hours he emailed us a detailed report. All this for a very fair price.

Scott was recommended to me by a good friend. I was told he was very comprehensive and they were right. I was surprised to find the house I almost bought had a termite infestation and structural damage. For those who might think these inspections are a waste of time please reconsider. At the very least you want to know what you are buying.

The second house we inspection was totally differrent and came up much better and we are going ahead with it. Even the real estate agent was impressed and wants to recommend using him. The real estate agent told me most building inspectors would not have spotted the things he did.

You get a 27 page detailed report of each room and exterior/under house. The only improvement to the report could be the emphasis on the things that have been upgraded/replaced or in exceptional condition.

I would never use anyone else in the future and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

We were looking to buy a house which was clearly in need of attention, how much we couldn't be sure. So we engaged Bear Bottom Inspections, Edward was professional and very accommodating they're service was efficient and trustworthy. I would recommend them.

I needed a last minute building inspection of a house in Ferntree Gully the day of the auction and Edward was able to help.

Because it was last minute, there wasn't enough time to write up a report before the auction so he went through all the problems one by one going through the house. The level of detail was amazing, especially compared to other building inspectors we have used in the past.

Edward promply emailed the report the next morning. We didn't end up getting the house but it was useful to see the amount of detail in the written report & it was definitely money well spent. It opened our eyes to the amount of work which was needed on the house & prevented us paying more than it was worth.
