At Beauty & the Bees here in Tasmania, we truly understand dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin- Jill Saunders began Beauty & the Bees in an effort to cure herself, using her grandmother’s old remedies, of disfiguring and chronic eczema/dry skin, and succeeded by using only trusted, pure, gentle food ingredients after experiencing the damage to skin caused by the harmful effects of petrochemical mineral oils and their synthetic derivatives present in most skincare products. Our focus is the customer. Our customers need to be provided with the best products that will not harm them, only help them.

Why did Beauty & the Bees select Tasmania as base of operations? The island’s abundant and natural ingredients, like the aromatic Leatherwood honey, which is unique to Tasmania. Tasmania’s cool climate also meant that potent, certified organic herbs would play a key role in the Beauty & the Bees range.

I am nearly 60, with very dry skin. These products are exceptionally soothing, beautifully scented and delightful to use. Would recommend for dry, ageing skin! Great to be supporting a home-grown Australian company.

If your looking for beautiful, natural shampoo bars and conditioner bars for your hair, Beauty & the Bees is the place to buy from. The products are wonderful for your hair and also environmentally friendly. The range of shampoo bars is also great. Fantastic products!

We have been able to eliminate all plastic from our bathroom by using the high quality shampoo soaps and skincare soaps from Tasmania’s “Beauty and the Bees”. Beautiful gentle products that really work and last a long time so they save money too. The service is great and our order always arrives very quickly. Brilliant business. Highly recommended.

So do we Tina: we are held hostage as we are in an island and the postage costs are insane: we have tried every way known to reduce them but unfortunately in Australia with its low population and massive distances it simply costs more ( so are we are told: but our American partners can post the same distance for a quarter of the cost: all about population/ srrvive use. but thank you for your kind comments!!

Fantastic customer service and prompt delivery. The products are exceptionally well-priced, the vision of the company is clearly articulated and is reflected in both the their products and their practices.
