I wouldn’t recommend this business, period. My mother who is a pensioner (76) sought the services of this salon on the 25th Oct ‘19. She was a first timer to this salon and had booked in for foils and a haircut. She explained to the ‘senior stylist’ what she wanted – a short all-over/layered cut, with extra trimming around the ears. The employee made no attempt from start to finish to confirm what the pricing would be for the services. At the finish of the service the employee signalled to my mother that she was done with the job. My mother was looking at her ‘new style’ in the mirror and was horrified that the job was ‘considered done’. A ‘pixie cut’ was what she had got .. ie ‘place bowl over head and cut around the bottom perimeter’. My mother again reiterated what it was that she wanted. The employee replied that to continue the service at that time wasn’t possible as she had another customer due into the salon in a few minutes. My mother was asked to come back at another time. My mother, having good manners, paid the outrageous $270 bill (to her astonishment) whilst visually disappointed with the service she’d received. She sought the services of another salon to correct the cut she’d been given. I’d like to highlight, how disgraceful and unprofessional to usher out a client when they’re clearly unhappy with the service they’ve just received. How on earth does a ‘senior stylist’ not comprehend an instruction from a client. How unprofessional to not confirm and disclose the exact cost of a service a new client is about to receive. Bad business practice all around it seems from this encounter. I do note that the owner, Amy, does like to discredit those that dare write a negative review of her business – judging from other neg reviews I’ve read. For those reading .. seriously, give this place of business a big miss. Many quality salons in F’ston – this isn’t one of them.

We are very sorry to hear of you and your mothers displeasure. There seems to have been a bit of a communication mix up between your mother and our stylist.
Your mother initially asked for an inch off, with layering. Then asked for more, and then asked for a pixi cut once my stylist re-consultated.
A cut like that alone can take some time and definitely isnt a cut to be rushed so my stylist had rebooked her with our short hair stylist but cancelled, we would have absolutely loved to create that cut for her.
