We visited the Caloundra Cinemas last week while on Holidays The movie was fine - although I cant reccomend the place due to 1- The Cinema could do with a clean the place smells -
2 - The Cinema was very Hot and Sweaty until they turned the Air Con on - probally saving on costs as there was only 4 of us watching the Movie-
3 - The most Dissapointing part of our visit was the service from the young LADY who said to us on our arrival -WELL I,M NOT A MIND READER. The Gentleman that took our tickets was 10 out 10 for service as he showed as the door to the Cinema and advised where the LOOS were - Thankyou SIR -

I first came here for Thor and it was Ok for the price and we were the only ones in there. 2nd time it was a bit more busy and not big enough for other patrons. Its too small for large groups and the interior needs a renovation ASAP. During my movie 'bad grandpa' a mouse scuttled across the screen !! They have also upped their prices but need a good clean before they do things like this. Would be great if renovated.

Approximate cost: $9

Massage central was the best massage I have had it was very calming and and great value as your time massage is only $49 for a hour. They talk to you about why you are there and where your back hurts to help target those areas . I can't wait to go back

Approximate cost: $49

You get what you pay for at Caloundra cinemas. Tickets are very cheap and the food the same.. The cinema rooms feel dirty. The toilets are filthy, And the popcorn is stale. Great for those who are on a budget, But Who wants to pay to be sitting in filth?

Approximate cost: $20

You get what you pay for I guess. Actually, they should lower the price. Cinema 4 is filthy. They made the mistake of leaving the cleaner lights on so it was all lit up. The seats falling apart and have who knows what on them. Consider bringing a towel to sit on and some sanitizer. There is a big vertical line down the screen which constantly distracts from the film. Im scared to think of the condition of the other cinemas. If you intend to go, give yourself an extra 10mins after the stated start time as they have a heap of ads (not previews, commercials) beforehand. The young staff on the other hand are courteous and efficient.

I love the caloundra cinemas asi have small children and it is great value when you have to pay for the whole family. The cinemas are nice and small and the staff are friendly. It's a bit of a hike p the stairs but it's a good location with plenty of parking and lots of coffee shops in the area too.

The Caloundra Cinema is just about the most unusual cinema complex that I've ever been to. Located on the upper level of a shopping complex, the cinemas overlook the shopping centre's forecourt. Whilst the cinemas are air conditioned, it can often be quite warm whilst waiting outside.

The greatest benefit of the cinemas is that they are very competitively priced. It costs around $22 or $23 to take an adult and two children to the pictures which is a great deal less than nearby mulitplexes. I recall almost fainting with disbelief when I was charged close to $40.00 for the same number of tickets at the Marooychdore multiplex.

THis is a good place to go to the cinema if you want to take the kids to the cinema and not spend a fortune as the tickets are cheaper than the big cinemas
