Fantastic young casual vibrant venue, serving pizzas which are 5 star taking into account the price, serving size, quality of ingredients, topping options and topping proportions.
This is not a genteel fine dining place. Table service is fairly non-existent. However, if you are looking for a casual, relaxed and electic place to hang out with friends, in the Brunswick St area, this is a great choice.
The menu is predominantly filled with pizzas (there are other options such as salads, gourmet hot dogs etc... but the place is known for its pizza) with a fantastic range of topping options. Everyone will be satisfied whether they fancy meat, vegetables, spicy, cheesy, classic, modern or something sweet.
For those who find it hard to choose and want it all, that's OK, the budget will cope - pizzas are sized to serve 1 and are priced at $4 (most of the time, check website for more info on times & days).

I know some people expect a little more in their pizza, but for me this place was great. The staff are a little more chilled out than you'd like, but the atmosphere in the rooftop dining area is great and there are lots of quiet nooks and crannies for a gossip or a catch up with friends you haven't seen in awhile.

They have a good selection of cider and beer on tap and yes, the flavoured vodkas are fantastic! Not cheap and nasty but very authentic and flavoursome.

Approximate cost: $4 pizza, $8 vodka

vodka and pizza, what a combination!

For pizza it's ok, I think you'd be happier paying a little extra elsewhere if you enjoy a great pizza. Very cheap $4. As a bar it's a great place to go for a drink with friends but you'll be waiting at the bar for longer than you would elsewhere. They have different types of flavoured vodka if you enjoy a drink. If your in the area give it a go but wouldn't go out of my way

I have been to the Bimbo many times over the years, although the gap between my last two visits was an extended one. I had always been satisfied with the pizzas and the pub as a whole in the past.

After my latest visit I doubt I shall return. The pizzas both my partner and I ordered were well below average. The amount and quality of toppings was just....lacklustre, disappointing, abysmal was more the word I am looking for.

For such a cheap price some may say, what can you expect, well I can expect some pride in what you are producing for your customers. The pizzas were not worth the money spent.

On top of that the house beer served, which was not cheap ;-), was so thick and yellow light would not pass through it.

Staff were also rude.

A thoroughly disappointing experience from a venue that had impressed in the past. So much so that I feel the need to share my bad experience with others and vow to never ever return.

Bad Bimbo, Bad :/

Decent authentic thin crust italian style bases cooked with simple but good ingredients for cheap prices.Plenty to choose from, not your average shaved ham kind of place, and they even have DJs at the right time

Approximate cost: $4

Cheap pizzas are great, especially with beer.

For $4 you need to go here. During certain times of the day you can get Pizza here for $4!!! You can also get a rewards card which gives you free pizza after showing your loyalty and they put that on your card. This is PIMPED OUT Pizza here and it's a real fun place. The Bimbo ale is also a winner and the place is filled with these weird plastic 'BIMBO' dolls! Upstairs there is a beer garden which is lovely during warm days. WORLD PIZZA JUDGE on facebook rates this place in the TOP 5 for value for money.

Great selection of pizza toppings and great value for money. It has all the favourites, some with a twist and also desert pizzas including strawberries and almonds as toppings. The decor is original and it creates a funky atmosphere.

Approximate cost: $10

This place is all about this pizza - fantastic pizzas where the ingredients speak for themselves - fresh, simple and tasty. Keep wanting to give the dessert pizzas a go but always too full!
