I first used Biome when I lived in Brisbane, and still do now that I've relocated to Melbourne as luckily for me, their excellent service extends to delivering to VIC!! Yay!
I love Biome because they have a great range of eco-friendly products, ranging from household cleaning, to drink bottles, to quirky gift ideas for that something a bit different.
Their product knowledge is fabulous and no question is too silly.
Their prices are reasonable, as eco-friendly products tend to have a slightly higher price tag but I think they offer value within that landscape.
A bit of a go-to shop for me, and would thoroughly recommend Biome to anyone.

My experience with Biome was very good. I bought SIGG waterbottles from the online store. I thought the range for these products was very good as I was looking for particular designs/sizes and most physical stores I've been to don't have very many. The website was well designed and my items shipped very quickly. I also liked how they are responsible in packaging items in reused materials.

Absolutely fantastic and very unique shop, promoting ethical, environmentally conscious products. I think they need to drop their prices though to reach a wider group of people. I wish I could buy more, but I almost need to save money to go there.

We deliberate a lot on the pricing of our products and aim to always be competitive at the Recommended Retail Price or less. Some eco products do cost more as you say because they are higher quality in the ingredients/inputs, the manufacturing process and the labour. We find it is great to support small eco-businesses so that they can increase their volumes and hopefully lower their costs and prices also. And our philosophy is to offer products that help you to "buy quality, less often".
Biome is my favourite shop in Brisbane. I love it. All the prodcuts they stock are ethical, environmentally conscious and responsibly priced. Service is fanstastic and friendly.
