I stopped this morning on way to work for breakfast. I ordered my favourite treat (toasted ham, cheese & tom sandwich) to go. Service was very good, lady behind the counter was polite and smiling and I barely had to wait for my order.

The toastie was delicious and filling! Priced at $7 is about reasonable cost what i would expect to pay.

Only down side was minimum spend on using your credit card was $10... but its okay.

Happy to recommend this cafe.

Fancy naming a restaurant after a line from an absolute classic Peter Sellers movie (The Party). I'll have to check this place out!

This place is really nice in so many ways. Has a really nice outdoor courtyard, lots of space and takes bookings. I would definitely recommend going here if you have kids because there is a sandpit that the kids love. The people are really nice and understanding of the different needs of families with children of varying ages. The food is good, but not great, but really I'd recommend this place for young families.

I have been coming here for the past 2 years, however, over the past 6 months there must be a change of ownership, or at least, they have changed coffee brands from Campos (which I love!) Since changing coffee's I find the coffee not as good so do not come here anymore.

The main reason for choosing to go to this cafe was because I had heard about the children's courtyard play area and thought it would be an ideal place to go with my niece and younger cousins. The all day breakfast menu is a plus, while the coffee was a bit of a let down. Most of us adults found our coffees to be only just hot, like we had to drink them straight away so that they wouldn't get cold. The rest of the food was great tasting and the kids loved the babyccinos! The staff were friendly not only to the adults but to the children as well.

This place is good, family friendly and the service is always happy and genuine. I have been there with my partner a few times, the coffee is good and reasonably priced, the milkshakes actually come in the large steel cups which is fantastic, as most places use glasses. the back area is spacious and relaxing, with vines and little birds can be spotted from time to time flitting about (I think some of them nest in the greenery around the area).
Only drawback I would say is that they tend to close early for a high street cafe. I'm not sure of their opening hours but we have gone by a few times in the early afternoon (3-4) and they are closed or about to close.
Other than opening hours, I would definitely recommend them

Such a great lunch experience, with a range of food impossible to tire of. The children have a wonderful time in the area specifically for them (even on a wet Melbourne day like today!), while the mums are able to enjoy the delicious lunch in the more adult surrounds of the cafe. We all love it here.

I love this cafe. It is one of the few places I can eat my lunch in peace while my toddler is off having a great time. There is a great big sandpit and plenty of toys for the kids to share.
The food is delicious. Be careful if you are a vegetarian though. Last time I went with someone who checked that the pasta special did not have meat in it; and it came out with lots of chorizo in it.

A really lovely eating experience. The location is central but accessible, parking is always available nearby. The building is very ineresting as it retains some of its old fashioned butchers paraphenalia. The food is always good though not gourmet,it is very tasty well presented, decently priced and served with a genuine smile. The fact that it caters to kids without losing its sense of taste is a huge bonus.

Have visited this cafe quite a few times. They have a fantastic kids area out the back with a big sandpit and lots of toys and space! But as well as being great for kids, the food is also really good - fresh and good value. The atmosphere is great and apparently they have a Wed night BBQ night which sounds great too.
