We've had a couple of meals at the Black Cow, and on both occasions the meals were magnificent, and the service was superb - they are very attentive. My husband had the steak, which he said was one of the best he'd eaten. I had vegetarian meals both times, and they were very delicious. The meals are expensive, but these were special occasions, and it was worth paying that bit extra for.

A small intimate dining experience, the black cow offers amazing food that keeps you wanting more. The staff are fantastic, the whole experience was exceptional. Unfortunately they are on the expensive side but worth every cent

Ate here on a few occasions now. They do a very good steak - they have very attentive service, good wine and a fine selection of beer. Nice venue too. The Pork Belly entree I ordered was the 200g Eye Fillet with salad and it was nothing short of superb. An inspection of the Wine Cellar again was a real eye opener and the service from the wait staff was spot on, great night and excellent prices, I paid $35 for my dish and was beautiful.

Order two rib eye medium rare two light beers and one cauliflower side dish after waiting 55 min they finally arrived one was over cooked when we asked to exchange I said I never want to wait anoth 55 min or we would be eating alone the reply was we we are only going to swap yours and not sure how long it will take, I kept it and never ate it the bill was $132

Best steak I have ever had in my whole life! Cooked to absolute perfection, they know what they are doing here. They even cater for vegetarians and allergies. After telling the waiter I had a dairy allergy, he didn't make me feel uncomforable about it. Infact he made me feel completely confident that everything was taken care of, and it was. When we looked at the dessert menu, the waiter had already spoken to the chef about an alternative for myself before I had even asked. This is what sets them apart from other places because they not only meet expectations but they anticipate your needs.

Although a bit on the expensive side, it is worth every cent and I would eat there every week if I could afford to.
