The staff at Bob Jane seemed friendly enough but very rushed and brash. They did an alright job on a set of mud tyres but they charged quite a lot, at least a lot more than I thought they would have. The quality wasn't too bad, but the service and value for money probably need to be improved.

The manager was incredibly rude and condescending when I walked in (I'm a girl), one of the larger workers kept on leaning on my car, the car wasn't done by the scheduled time, and they ended up charging me more than they had quoted. I have also heard that they pay all of their employees cash, and very little at that. Highly recommend NOT going to this business.

all i needed were two front tyres and a wheel allignment - took hours to get the actual tyres on, then to do a wheel alighnment that just did not seem to do anything. the sales people there i suppose are ok, seemed to know what they were doing but took a bit to tell them that i did not want to purchase all four tyres, just the front two. guess they are just doing their job. but i ended up taking my car to tyrepower to get another alignment because they didn't seem to have done anything. dont think i will be going back there again - even if they do have deals on.
Hi Kellieg5, thanks for the heads-up in relation to this business. We personally dislike businesses who train their employees to â??up saleâ?? products. After all, not everyone supports the Americanised (or should I say McDonaldised) business plan. Thanks for sharing your experience. Reeces
Horrible customer service, bought 4 new 4wd tires for our land rover, they damaged 11 wheel nuts including one of the spare wheel wheel nuts, refused to admit it, fitted the tires so that the printed side was facing in not out & allowed the vehicle to leave their establishment knowing full well that, if a flat tyre had occurred on the 35 klm drive home the vehicle would have to be towed as there was no way of changing the tyre because of the damage to the wheel nuts. We had to cut the damaged wheel nuts off when we got home. No response when complaint was emailed to head office they just don't care. Big thumbs down...do not use this business unless you want to fork out the money for new wheel nuts...ours will cost at least $130.00 to replace.
Hi Kareno1, irrespective of the sheer expense, this behaviour is inexcusable. Damage to wheel nuts is somewhat obvious and it would have been common sense (and basic professionalism) for the business in question to simply replace them at the time. Given this did not take place, at the very least; they should have admitted the problem, apologized and replaced the faulty merchandise. End of story! We really appreciate the fact that you went out of your way to try and resolve the issue and the fact that your request went ignored speaks volumes about the business and its lack of service. Been here on two seperate occasions over last three years. On both occasions I have been disappointed in their service. Three attempts at a wheel alignment & still no satisfaction. Went to another specialist outlet & they got it right first time.

Hi Spike, complaints for this business appear to be much the same (on WOMO and other review websites) and frequently involve an inability to complete an adequate wheel alignment. If a business canâ??t get it right by the third time, then they need to retire (pardon the pun.) Very disappointing! Reeces
