I had a pedicure here recently (from their pregnancy menu) and it was fantastic. It's such a gorgeous, calm environment, and the pedicure was very good.

They took our money and refused to deliver the service. My father ordered two gift vouchers (one for me and my wife, and one for my brother and his wife) each $207 and they only sent one of them. They also only issued one of the two invoices (mine), yet they took money for both orders and charged my fathers credit card for both. We found out a few months later when my father asked if we'd used them and we knew nothing about it. When we tried to claim it the director said my voucher had been used already by my brother. They had obviously stuffed up and sent my vouchers to my brother and not sent my brothers vouchers at all. I assume at the time it was an honest mistake because we had the same last name. When we tried to make a booking using a copy of the invoice my father had sent me, she said 6 months had passed and the voucher (which she never even made) would have expired anyway. Thing is, not having received it, how could we know we had only 6 months to use it. She then couldn't provide a copy of the missing invoice or the voucher number as she couldn't find it in their system and refused to do anything about it - clearly there was no invoice and she knew she'd made a mistake but refused to own up to it. I would not buy anything from this company. The 6 month expiry in itself is ridiculous and it's my opinion that they make a good business out of taking peoples money refusing to provide the services.

I work in Clarendon St and popped my head in on the way home from work one day just to check it out. I ended up talking to the front counter women for half an hour about treatments, their products and the history of the building (every building has a story!). Anyway, I felt immediately at ease so decided to book a facial for the next evening after work. I couldn't wait - and it was simply divine. I now have a regular appt booked in for 6wkly facials, monthly massages and have even locked hubby in for a 'Men's Retreat'! If we could rent a room there, we would!

Body Freedom is an amazing haven of calm and relaxation. It's all the little touches that set it apart from other day spas - eg the heated bed, fluffy doona, warm wheat bag. The staff are all friendly, warm and professional, and unlike other places you can be guaranteed of a great treatment no matter which staff member you get. I've taken a few friends and family there, and they've all become hooked!

Can't recommend Body Freedom highly enough.

Such an amazing way to pamper yourself. Body Freedom does not have that cold, clinical feel you get at some day spas. Cozy, warm, discreet and friendly. Fantastic range of treatments and professional, experienced staff. The array of products available downstairs also makes birthday and Christmas presents easy!

When walking in the door at the retreat a relaxing sense of calm envelops you. Every moment there contributes to your well being. The staff are friendly and professional. Every treatment offers it's own special touches, such as heated treatment beds and warm doonas for massages, or a cozy chair and a warm cup of tea during a pedicure. They stock high quality skin care products. After buying toiletries for a new bub in the family, I have requests to bring more of the soaps back to Canada with me when I go to visit.
