This cafe is tucked away off the main street in a quiet area, so its perfect if you're wanting a relaxing breakfast. Unfortunately it is quite small so can get full quickly however the staff are very accommodating, fast with their service and serve lovely food. Highly recommend the french toast mm!
Approximate cost: $20
I'd heard so many great things about this place and was excited to finally visit but left disappointed. Service was very slow. Coffee was like warm, even after we ordered it extra hot and nobody came back to take our food order so we left.
AMAZING burger cafe in Lilydale. Its set in a really funky farm to table style cafe. It's small, but the decor is great. Thick cut chips. Great burgers. Much of the ingredients are locally sourced from their own Bom Gosto Farm in Yarra Glen.
First time here this morning. Stunning food. ...lovely atmosphere and fantastic service. I will be visiting again
Didn't expect to find both outer suburbia almost country charm + inner city sophistication & efficiency, but I was pleasantly surprised. I do not mean to be rude to all the outer suburbia cafes who do a great job, but it is rare to come across a cafe (by chance) which offers everything you love about an outer suburbia local cafe (the tranquility, spaciousness, pleasant unhurried personal service, flexibility to adjust the menu for dietary needs) and combine it with everything that we also love about inner city cafes (innovative food, culinary technique, plating artistry).
You'll find it all at Bom Gosto.
My open sandwich was a testament to that. A picture on the plate, it featured layers of lovely smoked salmon, wedges of avocado offering height & interest, barley, sprigs of pea shoots, sprinkled pomegranate and thinly shaved discs of radish. Colour, texture, visual and gastronomical appeal in one!
Have visited here several times due to convenience, the food is pretty good but the prices are too high but the staff are rude. I do not recommend going here if you can help it.
Approximate cost: $25
This is a pleasant place for a quick lunch or snack. Their beef or chicken rolls are very good - plenty of filling and nutritious. Service is ok and the staff are friendly. Coffee is pretty good too. Although it can be busy it isn't really noisy so is a good place to go for a coffee and snack to catch up with a friend or two.
Approximate cost: $15.00
A lovely relaxed, farm to table style cafe. The menu offers variety, with food that is both hearty and rustic, yet far from sloppy and boring. The lunch options are great, I have had heart warming soups, organic spiced chicken with roasted veggies, and pizza adorned with figs & goat's cheese.
