After our long drive from Adelaide for a family emergency we decided to get together with same family members and have dinner here because it looked like a nice place for a meal.

This is one restaurant that I will not recommend, the pizza's were tasteless and lacked toppings, one of them was overcooked and no one really wanted to try it, they were very expensive and definitely not worth our money. As for the service, well it was slow, almost non existent. There were only another 8 people dining, yet they just couldn't be bothered.

Overall, an extremely disappointing experience, will never return, not even for coffee. We went back to my brother's house and ordered takeaway pizza, which we should have done in the first place!

This has been a pitstop for us twice now after a visit to the Maroondah Adventure Mini Golf.
The kids like the house made pizza on the kids' menu.
They are quite kid friendly, with an entire kids corner with plenty of toys, and highchairs available.
Be sure to ask for the colouring in sheets and textas- it makes waiting for the meals that bit easier, and they seem to forget to bring them over.
I've encountered a rude staff member at the register when trying to redeem an Entertainment Book voucher, who told me I couldn't use it, even though they clearly hadn't read the rules of use in the book. Held up the queue for 5 minutes trying to pay for everything, so prefer not to go back after this.

Hi Curlycee, one wonders whether businesses actually realize that it often takes only the â??oneâ?? negative experience to afford them a less than optimal review and refusal to revisit.
Although necessary, we have grown tired of hearing about customers having to fight to obtain their voucher discounts. Does management not realize that a bad experience will cost them considerably more than the minimal discount offered to the voucher holder? Thanks for the notification. Regards, Reeces

We only saw the lunch menu today, but there was plenty to choose from. Our group had: a pizza, and there was plenty of topping; the fish special, which was small but enough for lunch but accompanied by a trendy salad; a burger, which was huge, with yummy fries, and the risotto special, which was really delicious. All of these were cooked perfectly, and the only problem was rectified immediately and well ( one of the pieces of fish was not hot).
We tried a couple of the desserts, all of which are housemade, and they exceeded expectations.
The drinks were all acceptable, although the black coffee was too strong.
Service was good, it's open all the time because it's near a cinema, and it is in the Entertainment book!
We will go back soon.

Every time I have been here, they have never let me down. Satay chicken is amazing! and the cake slices are HUGE!

Tons of seating, so you'll always be able to get a table there. The food is pretty good, though I've only tried their pizza. Their prices are a little expensive, but their pizza toppings are top quality and generous. It's handely located inside the Reading Cinema complex, so it's a great place to get a coffee or meal before or after seeing a movie.

Approximate cost: $14-30

The food was pretty good and filling and the service is pretty good too. A good place to have a meal just before the movies. At times it is a little noisy but it has a cheerful atmosphere. I would go again for a quick meal.

Approximate cost: $20.00

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Reading cinema complex in Chirnside Park. They currently have a buy one get one free meal voucher on local shop-a-dockets and are in the Entertainment guide. They are open every night, so it is good to graba quick meal before seeing a movie. They also offer a take-away service of a few menu items that you can take into the cinema with you.

Approximate cost: $18

We also think this is a great place. I take the family there (2 kids) kids eat free until 7pm Wednesday's and also good meeting place for the girls nights. The meals and delicious and quick to the table (good when catching a movie). Staff are real friendly and always happy to have you there. Highly recommend. ***** Five Stars
