Pretty standard Australian bakery. The vanilla slices are reputedly excellent but I’m not a fan of the snot block. It gets really busy but service is quick. Their crusty white Vienna loaf is my son’s favourite bread.
Popular bakehouse that myself and aunt and uncle stopped in on the way to Daylesford to see another relative. Very busy which was ok, service was great however pies that we ordered were luke warm. I honestly have had better service and hot pies closer to home of the same quality to be honest.
Approximate cost: $50
Absolutely amazing vanilla slices. Best I've ever had.
The caramel slice was good but a little too sickly sweet.
Pies and sausage rolls are also great from here.
Unfortunetly due to they're great food they're often busy. Everytime I've been there it's busy and a bit of a wait in the cue but its worth it.
Business was busy as always. Excellent Coffee and Vanilla slices.. Highly Recommend this bakery. As good as expected. No one was eating outside this day due to the cold weather. Would definately visit again
Approximate cost: $8
It was pretty busy when we dropped in for morning tea. We ordered to eat in and ended up waiting nearly half an hour for them to make one coffee and plate up two cakes. In that time we saw them serve take away coffees to two people who came in after us. It was pretty crowded in the eating area especially as people feel the need to park their prams at their tables.
Usually enjoy this bakery but from now on will stick to take away only.
The vanilla slice tastes as good as the bakery promises.
Popular Bakehouse with all available eating in tablwes taken by customers indoors, tables are provided outsdie however due to cold temperatures on the day of visit they wern't being utalised by customers. Lots of cstomers like myself and my family were making take- away purchases.. Fairly managed cures with the utilising of numbered tickets to ensure that customers are served in order..
Approximate cost: $10.40
The vanilla slice is delicious! Super busy our first visit one weekend for lunch. It was chaos actually. Wasn't clear you have to take a ticket when you arrive and then wait for your number to place your order. It otherwise appeared as though people were queuing - as there was nowhere else to wait. Unfortunately the pie selection was limited at the time, but we got a vanilla slice anyways and it was worth it.
A real country bakery. Staff have a chat and a laugh. Food great however coffee could so some work (but what do you expect from a bakery!!)
The food is great often go there on my lunch break love the sandwiches and everything else. good service to.
the staff are very friendly and helpful but i do think a coffee card would help to keep the loyal customers coming back
Approximate cost: $8.20
“I went there with my Mum this afternoon and I got myself a Tiramisu for $5 so I”…
