I would like to thank everyone from the paramedics, doctors & staff at the Box Hill Hospital Emergency Room for looking after me so well. I would highly recommend this hospital & cannot praise them highly enough.

I came here to the emergency department and was made to wait over an hour finally I saw the doctor and he couldn't work what was wrong and had to refer me to a specialist who said it was something quite common

Waiting room is quite large, lots of reading mats.

I had my antenatal classes at Box Hill and enjoyed them immensely. Decided not to have bub there as I preferred the Angliss.

For emergency, I have found them to be fantastic, apart from the long wait.

I had my first child at Birralee Maternity section. I also had anti-natal classes here (which were very informative).

The Maternity staff and student nurses did a good job in delivering my child.

I had my premature son at Box Hill (Birralee) the midwifes and nurses were so helpful and caring. My son was in for 5 weeks and the whole time the staff made all efforts for me and him to be comfortable

I found Birralee Maternity ward to be a very positive experience overall with the birth of my son. I found they were very thorough with my pregnancy and extending medical conditions they had all the necessary facilities. The only real issue was with there hesitation to give me an epidural even though they knew my medical history.

I had a very positive experience with the Box Hill Hospitals Birralee Maternity clinic. I had my sonn their the staff were very friendly and listened to my requests and concerns before and during and after the birht of my son.

I suffered a badly twisted foot - could not walk or put pressure on it without extreme pain - trotted off to emergency as it was late at night. We went through the triage stage and a few hours passed before seeing a doctor. Whilst the doc was abrupt and condescending he did send me for xrays. After another wait he called me back and to my amazement said nothing was wrong with my foot!! I went back and this time a different doctor found that I'd torn a ligament. He sent me off for some physio type treatment which helped alot. I'm quite appalled at the treatment I received the first time and particularly so as my foot took many months to heal. Apart from that very bad experience I cannot praise Box Hill Hospital enough in the care that doctors and nurses showed for my son when he broke both his wrists and for the care they showed my elderly neighbour when she suffered a heart attack.
