First trip under the new management, the ambiance and service is nice in spite of a slightly awkward set-up. Very nice food and a pleasant hot chocolate.

Nice rustic restaurant/cafe, with beautiful surrounding scenery. The restaurant is nice and spacious with a canary and children's play room. If you're lucky you may happen to dine there while a busker merrily plays on the piano.
The service is quick and friendly, however the seating is somewhat uncomfortable and it can be a little chilly in there in winter.

a must visit cafe/Restaraunt ...beautiful setting and excellent service. I would definitely recommend Brookfield, the breakfast I had there was the best I'd had in a long time.

A nice little eatery, i had the vegatable stack when i went, it was just okay could have been alot better and could have had alot more vegtables in it as it wasnt what i expected, staff are very friendly and prices are very reasonable, decor is indeed very interesting all round it was a nice place to dine i would like to go back to see if it has changed much.

We had a really yummy lunch here. The Tasmanian salmon crepe was delicious and my daughter's sausages and mash weren't bad. Service was prompt and pleasant. We enjoyed a glass of local wine and found the decor "interesting". There is also a Tudor Village and Model Railway here, but these can only be viewed at certain times on guided tours.

Very satisfactory dining experience every time I have been here. The setting is just lovely and they have live music on weekends. The food is fantastic, wine is lovely and atmosphere very enjoyable. I regularly go back for afternoon tea or lunches and am always satisfied!
