This is the best place in HAmpton. You're out on the balcony in the sun having a beer and a great meal. The staff (mostly girls) and very friendly and also very easy on the eye.

My boyfriend and I dined at the Brown Cow over the weekend - the meal we received was nothing short of DISGUSTING!! The chicken served absolutely reeked - I could not wait for the plates to be removed from the table as the sever lack of freshness from both meals was making us ill. This was my second visit to the Brown Cow - I don't know what has happened over the past months but they need to have a serious look at themselves - I will NEVER go back there again...!

I just love the Brown Cow, it has a great outdoor deck area which always seems to be sunny and filled with nice people having lunch and wine or mums with kids (v. child friendly, provide crayons and paper and good child menu) The coffee is usually great and same with food. The staff are always good humoured and helpful and really there is nothing I don't like about it. (Actually would like if people were not allowed to smoke even though it's not undercover but thats the case everywhere here)

Sensational cafe experience! I must have dined here over fifty times, and have never had anything but sensational service and great food - VERY good coffee - always! Great for breakfast and Brunch, but does get very busy on the weekends with cyclists using it as a gathering place - for good reason.

Good atmosphere with nice music and an open fire in winter. Even though this place tends to be very busy, the staff always seem to be on top of it all - a real standout.

The staff here are incredibly nice and friendly. The service is wonderful. I do think they overcharge for coffee, however everything else is great. There outdoor area is also brillient in Summer.

Approximate cost: $20

The seating inside is cramped but cosy next to the real fire in the Winter. The seating outside is what sets the place apart with a large, decked, covered area with plently of seating within a short walk from Hampton Beach. The food is generic, but well prepared and the service is rapid and friendly.

Approximate cost: $20
