The food was amazing - everyone in our 5 member party had a different dish and was really impressed! The service left something to be desired. We booked our table on the Wednesday for 7.30pm Saturday night, on the Saturday within 2 hours we had 4 missed calls telling us to confirm our table or it would be given away, not impressed! Then a phone call on 7.30! Asking where we were (we were running a few minutes late) as once again out table would be given away.

Once seated Staff were not very engaging, and on serving our meals were plain rude.

Food is amazing and the experience is improved by the bustling atmosphere, overall the only downfall is the staff!

This was the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. And it's reasonably priced too. We had the banquet and I think it was around $27 per person but I may be wrong. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommended. But this place can get very busy so you are best to book.

Beautiful, authentic and exquisitely tasty food. Lovely service from respectful and trained staff. A clean and fresh environment, a place to make regular visits to! Cost is also very reasonable, and high quality produce (meats included) are used - none of those cheap cuts!

Approximate cost: $12-$20

The red duck curry is just the best i have ever had. Mixed entree is a great taste sensation. The deserts are a bit dissapointing.
Other Thai Restaurants don't even get close to the Brown Rice for value and flavour.
I have tried the others in the area but nothing compares to the Brown Rice.
Great place but can be noisy but this adds to the atmosphere.
I love it.

Approximate cost: $20

It's very nice place with good services. atmosphere was so great and the food was so tastety as thai style (medium hot ) just only one thing that i did not like because of too many customers they were packed. you would better go there on the weekday. highly recommended for people who miss thailand.. We have been to Brown Rice 10 times now and are about to go for the 11th. Firstly the food is fresh and delicious with all of those great Thai flavours. The Thai Beef salad and green curry is usually the measuring stick and both come up real winners.

Approximate cost: $15

This place is amazing! One of the nicest Thai restaurants I have been to in a long time. The decor was just perfect. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Went on Saturday night and it had got very busy. The food is just so good and tasty and presented very well. Well worth the visit and will be back. Their uniforms were a little relaxed and must say that when we had our coffees we had sugar put on the table and then quickly removed again. Too bad if you wanted more. I based our visit on the other ratings in here as they are not on a website and was pleased with the place. Was expecting to be greeted and the door held open but this didn't happen. Maybe because they were busy? All in all these are only very minor things to perfect a place but the main thing is, was the food good and I have to say my god yes!!

My husband and i first went into brown rice because we just moved to the area. After eating their once we have since been back many times and with friends in tow who equally love the food.
My favourite dish is the coconut rice and the seaford curry. Seriosuly amazing.
Our first experience we ate a starter and were a little disappointed with the offerings but the mains made up for this.
The brown rice ice cream with green tea needs to be tried as does the wonderful thai beers.
We will continue to go at least once a month! Lovely food, that you will be thinking about for days..SERIOUSLY

If you like Thai food than this restaurant is well worth a visit. I visited last night with my boyfriend for the second time. Entree prawn spring rolls were sensational. I tried very hard to fininsh green thai curry as it was fantastic. No room for dessert, hugh shame as the banana fritters were sounding good. Maybe next time. The service from the minute you walk in to the time you leave (when the door is opened for you) is about the best you could expect. The food (including taste, presentation and serving size) all excellent . Full of character and warmth. Highly recommend.
