I would not recommend Bundaberg City Realty. Janelle Schnabel is an unbelievably rude individual and is not professional in any manner. She had told me the house had to be kept in a certain manner due to the owners and when I met the owners they fired Janelle and went private with us due to none of what we were told about the owners were true. The office has a stench to it that’s unbearable also. Terrible terrible realtor.

Horrible, incompetent. Did not complete tenancy paperwork properly for incoming tenant into my investment property. The tenant trashed the house, I was left powerless as entry paperwork on behalf of agent was not completed correctly. Cost my $4k plus I’m out of pockets to repair damage and perform cleaning plus 8 weeks lost rent.

Terrible, unprofessional. Dodged accountability. Said sorry and that she didn’t know why it happened.

My partner and I applied for a rental house through Bundaberg City Realty for which we were approved. We paid the holding for the property and were due to move in at the end of the week upon payment of the the bond. However, the same day we paid the holding, due to something beyond my control, we realised we would not be able to afford the rent anymore. We called them the next day to arrange a refund for the holding and we were told the manager would give us a call back. They never contacted us, and over the next few weeks, that was the way it stayed until we finally got hold of the manager. She told us that because it had been so long, we wouldn't get any of it back, and that they had even put tenants in there only days after our cancellation. After that, we sought out legal help. We were told that what they had done was illegal and as long as we had contacted them within 48 hours, they had to give us our refund. They paid up in the end once the mention of going to court was brought up. Have never gone there since and would not recommend them to anyone.
