This review is for Bras N Things, Loganholme QLD

verified email - 15 Jan 2014

While it can usually be difficult to find nice bras in my size at most places, I always manage to find what I'm looking for here. The sales lady was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was obvious she was very busy, she didn't try to rush me out the door. I ended up putting a few things on lay-by and also received some $5 vouchers with the purchase through their rewards program.

This review is for S + S Hair Salon, Loganholme QLD

I went here for the first time the other day. The first thing I noticed was that they charge the same $30 for either a trim or a style cut. The ladies there were very friendly and professional. My hair is usually difficult to work with as it is very thin, but she did a great job of it. Was very happy with it and will definitely go back again.

Approximate cost: $30

I got my first two tattoos from these guys. I was very impressed with both of them. The second time, I only went in with a rough idea of what I wanted. The tattooist drew me up an amazing design that looked even better than the original idea in my head. Would definitely consider going back again.

I went here for lunch shortly after these guys opened and loved it. The staff are all super friendly and the food was really nice. I really liked the old school music theme too. I can definitely say I have never been to a place quite like this one. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely one of the better Cafe's in town. The food is great and the staff are really friendly. It is a little pricey though. But it's worth it if you're after a good meal.

This review is for Grunskes By The River, Bundaberg East QLD

Very nice place. I went there for lunch and I was very impressed. The food was very nice, there was only one problem though. There were a few people at my table, who asked for specifics (like certain things left off) which were ignored. Apart from that little detail, it's an excellent place to eat.

This review is for The Grand Mid Point Hostel, Bundaberg QLD

verified email - 06 Apr 2013

Due to a few issues going on in my life, I was left with nowhere to live so I settled on a backpackers hostel. The Grand isn't too bad, although, I do have a few issues with it. The place is neat enough, with a few exceptions (mainly the kitchen.) They only offer the bare minimum, with only a few electric frying pans and a few filthy microwaves to cook with. The toilets and showers seem to have been renovated recently, which is good. However, my main problem happened when I told them I would need to leave for two weeks, then I would like to book back in. I asked if I should book a room in advance for when I got back, they told me it would be ok and that there would be plenty of rooms available. So when I called up to book back in, they told me there was nothing available and that I would have to book into a shared room. Must say, I am not happy. If I had a choice, I would not be going back.

Approximate cost: $155 per week

This review is for RewardsCentral, St Leonards NSW

I have been using quite a number of different survey sites over the last few years. Rewards Central is definitely my favourite. It makes it so easy to earn points. It's not one of those sites where you have to wait months to get one survey invitation. Even when you don't have any surveys, you can earn small amounts of points with the web clicks, quick surveys, shopping online through there rewards partners or putting your points in the e bank (my favourite feature.) You are also able to link your account to your My Opinions account and transfer your points over. If you're looking to make a little extra cash, this is definitely the the best survey site around.

This review is for Cafe Fever, Bundaberg QLD

verified email - 23 Mar 2013

Definitely making Cafe Fever my regular place to get coffee. During the hotter months, I prefer to get iced coffees and these guys have the best ones I've tasted yet. Most places just use artificial tasting coffee syrup, so it can be hard to find a decent place to get an iced coffee. Haven't tried a regular coffee yet, but if the iced coffee is anything to go by, I'm definitely going to keep getting my coffee here. The staff there are also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good cafe in Bundy.

This review is for Duffy's City Buses, Bundaberg QLD

verified email - 15 Mar 2013

Due to not having a car, I'm having to rely a lot more on public transport to get around now. Catching a bus is definitely a lot cheaper than some of the other options available. Duffy's City Buses are doing an OK job. They show up on time, the bus driver is friendly and the bus in good condition. However, there have been a few times where a driver has forgotten my stop and another where I was given wrong information by not only one, but two separate drivers. If you are going to use this service, be sure you know all the details and keep an eye out for your stop to be sure you don't miss it. Either way, I'd much rather be using my own private transport, but a bus service will have to do for now.
