I was completely blown away but a staff member called Deana. Hope that’s how you spell it. I was a very frazzled customer on Sunday. Looking for a new canopy for my market umbrella. She saw my distress in not being able to purchase the said article. Calmed me down mentioned she thought it a great idea for Bunnings to produce them for future clients instead of being told I could throw it away to landfill by many shops I had been to Such a ridiculous idea
She presented me with a beautiful basket full of crafty things for my grandchildren and proceeded to chat about my experiences that day. What a valid member of your staff. We need more people in retail like her that can respond to situations and have clients leaving with a positive feeling about purchasing products in the stores. Thank you. I will return if I am going to leave feeling much better than when I started my journey

My wife is a very keen gardener and was recently disappointed that some of the pansies that she recently purchased had not flowered. However, a trip to Bunnings at Mile End was all that was needed to get her (and the pansies) back on track! An un-named male and Judy both offered advice as to a fertiliser that would due the trick and she accepted gratefully. The good news is that the pansies are well and truly flowering now.

Approximate cost: $4

Haven't been here, but sounds like they really know their stuff.

One of hubby's favourite stores! I love the fact that there always seems to be more than enough staff (a rarity these days!). Very pleasant staff member helped us with herb selections today and the check out lady was nice too. Excess trolleys in the carpark was the only issue today.

The service we have expericenced every time we have been there has been constiently good and honest should the staff not know an answer. If we can't locate an item staff will walk you down to the isle and also advise other aisles for products should that may be needed to complete your project no matter what the scale is...very good sales staff if you ask me!

If you want some timber cut for a home DIY project, FORGET IT! The two guys in the timber cutting department, whose names both start with "S" (they know who they are)
were completely unwilling to help. Even after I spent $86.30 (29/07/2011) on timber and other items for my weekend project, they would not cut the timber into shorter lengths for me. Fed me some BS about how their machine won't cut lengths shorter than 300mm. Their advice was to go and buy a power tool from their tool department. Really? What if I had asked for 100 lengths of 250mm?
Warm and fuzzy advertising, cold and unfriendly reality. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Do yourself a favour and do the same!

Bunning's is a great place to get anything that you need from renovations to BBQ needs. The staff were easy to locate around the store and were more than helpful with helping me to find the right tools for building the door that I needed to fix.

Everything you could ever need hardware-related, and many things you didn't realise you need until you went! Huge, but plenty of helpful staff to point you in the right direction. Husband and I have been plenty of times for various reasons, and have received excellent advice on most occassions.
