I went to Bunnings today to buy some plants and they had a great range of plants for low prices. I found many options and was very happy with my final choice.

With doing home renovations at the moment i have visited them numerous times and have got things i need 9 times out of 10 which is great and the things they dont have are normally sold out or can get from another bunnings store.
The customer service can be a little poor as sending you to an aisle with the amount of stock they carry can be difficult to find. Generally the staff do help you well but there are a few rude staff as well.

they have a great range of everything, i always shop there first before other places. they beat competitors prices without too many questions, they just take your word for it and process the sale which is great!

Excellent service and products, you can't go wrong with bunnings. They have a wide range of everything from plants and outdoor furnitiure to paint and kitchens. It really is the perfect home center for all your needs and I recommend it to anyone.

We went down to buy timber and gyprock for a project - what a drama.
I was with my partner, although it was my project and he was just there for muscles.
The guys kept referring back to him, even though he kept saying ask Jo, she knows what she wants.
When we came to put the stuff in the trailer, a sales assistant said that the gyprock would break. Ok. We asked for a solution - by now there were four guys standing around in fluro vests - no one could think of a way to get this stuff home without damaging it.

Finally another customer came over and told us how he transports his gyprock in a trailer - using "cover sheets". SO we asked if we could have or buy some cover sheets, the answer.... "no". So we dragged the $600 worth of gyprock out of the trailer and left.
We also had our entire car and persons searched before they would let us out of the warehouse - they even checked the glovebox!

Considering it is a huge shop there is very little choice the have a large amount of very similar items and the majority seem of very low quality.

Staff are inexperienced and seem to have very little product knowledge if you can find one.

The service is so bad you get the impression if you had a heart attach in this shop the staff will only do something when they notice a bad smell from your rotting body

The garden section is good

Parking is terrible

The checkouts are so slow they should provide seating and possibly pillows.

If you had a heart attach in this shop the staff will only do something when they notice a bad smell from your rotting body.

The variety and price is great but you need to do your research before you go there as service is almost non existant. Staff are always good but not experts in much at all.
