I love this place, much nicer than wok in a box in my opinion. Great tasting noodles, great value, lots of options, and they can make to order (ie. less or more chilli as required). My hands-down favourite is the Fried Kway Teow, with yummy rice noodles and packed full of meat and vegies. This is a great value takeaway place.
Approximate cost: $8-10
A great product! Thoroughly recommended! You can get some fantastic deals through the website or at baby expos. Postage is quick and reasonably priced too.
Lovely eat-in area, friendly staff, large range of produce. Lots of family meals ideas as well as the usual pies/pasties/sweets. The last coffee I had there was a bit average, but food was tasty.
We went here the other day on the first day of 'proper' summer- it was packed to overflowing, and a half hour wait for our fish and chips. I was really impressed with how the staff remained calm, worked quickly, were polite to customers who were clogging up the shop making it difficult for anyone to get in or out. And to top it off, the food was beautiful! Large pieces of butterfish, and a generous serving of chips with lots of crispy ones! Perfect
Gorgeous little cafe- have only been here once, but had the most amazing 3 egg omelette- didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Great coffee too (you can get it served in a huge soup-style mug) and the sweets look divine! Will be back
I really love this little cafe, and have always enjoys lunches and breakfasts here. Lots of great fresh options, good coffee, smoothies, juices. Does get a bit crowded, as not the largest of shops.
A nice little bakery, offering a few different options from the Bakers Delight across on the other side of the plaza. Has cheap bread (white and wholemeal mostly) for around $1.20, which is typical of the cheap bakehouse loaves available at other Vietnamese bakeries- not brilliant quality, but cheap. Their custard tarts are very tasty and as good as what's available in Coles. Some of the savoury options are not so much to my taste (had a spinach and cheese pasty once which was a bit average)
A large, reasonable priced cafe. Great iced chocolates, a nice selection of sweets. Meals are good value and generous portions, sometimes I've had great food here, sometimes only average- a bit hit and miss. But have never had any issues with drinks and sweets.
Beautiful shop, gorgeous displays. Owner is always happy to give suggestions, answer questions and do anything you ask. Very happy to recommend and will use this business again.
I had a lovely birthday lunch here a while back- lovely views, great food, relaxed atmosphere. My first experience of 'cook your own' stone grill steak had been a bit disappointing, but the Strathmore has renewed my faith in dining of this kind. From memory, a good wine list too.
