I have been to Bupa at Parramatta twice now enquiring about health insurance. The first assistant I met talked me through the cover, but refused to give me a booklet saying it was hers - very strange. On the second time, a different assistant answered my questions and gave me a booklet with pricing options. Not the cheapest cover around but overall the service has been OK.

I was at Westfield Parramatta last week and thought I'd drop in to Bupa to get a quote as I wanted to change my health insurance provider. The lady there gave me a corporate quote for couple and family cover which I took home to compare and also did a comparison online. I went back again 2 days ago to enquire further and asked if they could do any better and was told that I could get a $300 optical voucher on joining the top hospital and extras cover and that sealed my decision. Am happy with the service and that the 2 months waiting period would be waivered for those extras that I normally use.
