These guys were fantastic. I had ongoing heater issues. They could have easily done the easy thing of replacing parts and charging me a fortune but they performed some magic with the ignition system and all works beautifully now. Knew what they were doing and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend them.

Asked them to come and do a quote for me and was told they would charge for it, but if I went with them, the $100 + GST cost would be refunded. The quote they provided was more than double the next highest quote I had, which was already higher than the third quote (I always get 3 for a job). I recently had another job done that would have been similar in materials, time and number of tradespeople, so I know what this job should have been quoted around. It is my belief that they did not want the job, so they quoted high to put themselves out of the running, but they want to scam you for the quote money. Out of the 5 room renovations I have done to my house, and all of the trades I have come through here, not one of them has charged for a quote before. Definitely something fishy going on here.

Avoid. Poor quality work had to be redone a number of times. Poor customer service and lack of reliability (if they turn up).

We have waited over 4 weeks for them to deliver a quote. We asked for a range of options so we can decide which work we proceed with and which we don't, however, after waiting over a month for the quote, there is no breakdown and only a single quote with a total figure of $13,000. It's impossible for us to work out which work to go ahead with and which not. They've also told us 'quote is with management' repeatedly over the past 4 weeks which wasn't the case. Horrible and rude to deal with. They don't care about the customer at all.

I've had a plumber (Tab) from Butler Plumbing out twice now, after having had a number of other plumbers try and fix our ceiling leak but either not know what to do, or fail to actually fix it.

Tab came out and did an assessment of our roof and explained what he thought the problem was and how he thought it may be fixed. He was really efficient and friendly and said that we should wait until it rained again and call back if it still leaked. It did, so he came back and did the next fixes which did fix the problem. I was so, so thankful that finally someone was able to help us!

Butler Pluming are very efficient. I had to call them back and they were on my doorstep within 30 minutes. They always make sure they clean up any mess. Great company.

I had some spouting (second storey) that needed a repair which they managed well and they fixed some flashing at the same time. They also fixed a leaking toilet cistern, removed a old gas stove and tested an ancient gas heater. Two locations, well managed, efficient and great to deal with. Sound advice on safety issues. I'll be usign them again when the time comes.

Butler Plumbing was quick and efficient when we needed a plumber for our blocked toilet. We called them late on a Wednesday afternoon and they came out and fixed the problem same day at a fair price.
