When this place is good its great. Pasta is fantastic, service is quick and efficient and the pricepoint is excellent. On the other hand, when they are really busy it all falls down so avoid on Friday and Saturday nights and if you decide to drop in on impulse and see that all tables are taken just keep walking. Coffee is just average, the food is what appeals.

Jolly is a great place on Norton Street because it always seems to have people there. We enjoy sitting outside in the evening and having coffee/tea a cake. They do a great deal where it's $8 for a drink and cake. The staff are very friendly and we always have a great stay.

I come to this cafe once a month with the girls for food & not a chat. The food portions are average but flavouring is mainly consistent. The grilled octopus as an entree is fabulous, very tender & well marinated each time. The cheesy honey & chilli bread sounds adventurous & definitely worth tasting. The food always come out very fast so quickly eat the entree.
The cafe is very small & noisy as ti's always full so make sure you can wait 15-25 minutes at time at dinner peak time. There's outdoor seating aswell but each time i've been it's been too chilly to sit outside, but they do have heaters.
Their ice selection is yummy.

Approximate cost: $16

Great place to have as your local. Annie and Kenny make the experience worth while. The Italian food cooked by Chinese Chiefs is cooked extremely well, with prices very reasonable. Outside seating makes it great.

Pretty good place for breakfast if you're near the city. Quite sizeable servings (come hungry), prices are about average. Nice setting to meander over bacon and eggs and catch up with friends.

Approximate cost: $10
