I come to this cafe once a month with the girls for food & not a chat. The food portions are average but flavouring is mainly consistent. The grilled octopus as an entree is fabulous, very tender & well marinated each time. The cheesy honey & chilli bread sounds adventurous & definitely worth tasting. The food always come out very fast so quickly eat the entree.
The cafe is very small & noisy as ti's always full so make sure you can wait 15-25 minutes at time at dinner peak time. There's outdoor seating aswell but each time i've been it's been too chilly to sit outside, but they do have heaters.
Their ice selection is yummy.

I came here with 2 girlfriends on a Wednesday night at 630pm. It's a small restaurant with approximately 25-30 seats in total. There were 3 long tables reserved for a large party on the right hand side & the remaining seats were scattered on the left. My girlfriends and i stood & waited for about 5-10 minutes until there was a free table, it was slightly disappointing that a single gentleman who entered after us was giving an empty table first for 4. I suspect the business owner did that because he knew the single patron would be fast to finish - this was disappointing in regards to service.

We overlooked the issue of us being made to wait when we arrived first. The menu was simple & explained what were inside the dishes & were priced very reasonably. The all ordered a mixed plate & lemon juice. The portions were quite big & the garlic sauce was quite delicious.

Overall the food was great & quickly brought out & the price was really cheap

This review is for Jordons Seafood Restaurant, Darling Harbour NT

I went to dinner at Jordon's with 4 girlfriends on a Friday.

We ordered a sashimi platter $22, Jordons hot platter $15.90 & Jordons deluxe seafood platter $144.90
The sashimi platter was the smallest i have ever seen & the most expensive i've ever paid considering i eat sashimi nearly every week or two in Syd.
Overall the food flavouring on the hot platter was a disappointment, there were NO flavours on anything. The oyster in the deluxe platter was the size of my baby finger nail - such a disappointment, collectively it's the size of a normal oyster. The cooked squid & garlic prawns had only heat & no other flavour detectable. The mornay lobster was extremely small & was slightly cold when brought out.

The bill was split between 5 at approx $7/pp inclusive of drinks. Overall i would not recommend the restaurant, you're better off at another seafood restaurant or just go to the Syd Fish Markets for lunch instead.

We had a group of about 18 women who went to The Australian for pizza & beer for a work lunch.

There were not many customers, the food came out quickly & were yummy. We ordered an assortment of exotic pizza. Crocodile, duck, chicken, vegetarian x2 of each. Beers & wines for all.

As the Hotel was slightly quiet the staff came & had a chat with us & explained the dishes coming out.

It was a fun luncheon

My boyfriend and i wanted to grab a light dinner on a Thursday night although you'd usually not choose Italian, we decided why not - just order smaller portions.

We caught the old lift to level 3 in The Strand, we arrived & the reception was 1 meter from the lift. we got out & waited for a couple of minutes until the waiter & waitress acknowledged us as they were in the middle of an argument. We waited for a little bit & were guided into the bustling restaurant.

We were sat in front of the open kitchen & could watch the chefs at work. While waiting to order we were given a basket of bread for the olive oil dips already on the table, fruity mix, lemon & orange flavour - the mix was the nicest of three. I ordered an entree size of PAPPARDELLE CON RAGU DI VITELLA E MAGGIORANA - Hand Cut Pappardelle with White Rocks Veal Ragu, Marjoram and Bone Marrow. The Pappardelle was deliciously fresh & soft. My partner loved his risotto which was fish - the special for the night.

After our dishes were cleared, the waiter came over with a little lamp & the dessert menu which we declined as we're not dessert people.

Although we entered when there was a slight argument, we left with great food in our tummies.

This review is for Flying Fajita Sisters, Glebe NSW

We walked along Glebe Point Road about to enter a Himalayan restaurant but it was empty so we opted for another restaurant. We were turned away from a bustling Mexican restaurant till 8:45pm but it was 7:10pm, so we kept walking and stumbled upon the Flying Fajita Sisters which was quite full but could accomodate us as they had 2 floors.
We sat in the corner next to the bar & wall of pain (hot sauce cabinet). The first page of the menu described the origins of Mexican food. The menu was simple & descriptive of the food filling 2 pages, the last page was their cocktail/beverage menu. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night or there'd be a couple of yummy sounding cocktails ordered & all at reasonable price $12.5-$16 for premium tequila within.

The waiter was helpful & took time to explain what the dishes we were ordering. Between the 2 of us we shared an entree of King Prawn Huaraches-the salsa was yummy and the salad was fresh, alot of corn flavour. Chicken tamale which had a very dry wheaty dough component which required alot of sauce and the third dish was chimichanga with pork filling. Chimichanga was delicious but we'd choose another meat next time as the pork made the chimichanga taste too meaty & solid.

We ordered 2 mains to share

At first i had gone to Rockdale Mazda for a test drive, with an appointment made. Unfortunately the sales person made me wait 40 minutes as he was with someone else then i opted to speak with another salesperson. At the end of the day the dealership at Rockdale could not (possibly did not) find the car colour i wanted i went online and found a convenient Mazda dealership and called them. The assistant Manager had picked up my call at 4:50 and over the phone i made an order for a brand new Mazda, he was able to honour the price i had arranged with Rockdale and threw in more extras. He was polite and extremely helpful and nice. As i'm busy with work i made most of the purchase and decision over the phone and via email. I didn't meet the salesperson till the day i went to pick up my car. I was able to do everything remotely as i felt the Assistant Manager was genuine and very helpful. I would recommend the AMR Mazda dealership to all my friends and not Rockdale eventhough i had previously bought another Mazda from Rockdale.

We had rented a 2 bedroom apartment that had an amazing view, it's the second time i've stayed at the Q1. The main reason is for it's view and the new decor it holds.
I had rented the apartment through a vendor who were great with our requests and booking dates. They were very helpful and allowed us to use their office to store our luggage.

It was a Saturday night where my friend had booked out half the restaurant for 50 people at a really nice Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately the waitresses DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH, they couldn't understand the simplest requests of drink orders or replenishing food that was not brought out. We had a 7 course menu with a drink for $50, the portions were small and the entree of sweet potato soup was dreadful; cold and gelatine-like. The food for the price paid was not worth it.
A waitress and the manager on 2 separate occassions had spilt alocohol all over the same table, they had comped a round of drinks for them. Another table had ordered hot sake but received hot water instead. The venue was booked for 50 and in the end 54 people came, the kitchen didn't prepare for extra food for just in case. The dinner took 3.5 hours where the kitchen knew what they had to prepare beforehand.
Terrible and disappointing is the only thing i can say about the whole dining experience. For the price we all paid, we couldv've ate elsewhere with better food and service.

The location is easy to get to & close to everything, great environment and ambience.
The flavoured ladies beer was delicious, the mixed gourmet sausages are worth a try, the goulash was filling and yummy with a punch to its flavour, the salmon main is very appetising as there is a lot of acidity in the tomato saucing.
