A little pricey, but the food is great. This used to be the old Andronicus across from Chatswood chase (not to be confused with Cafe New York near Chatwood station). Menu has a great variety of options. Lunch time specials can help make it more affordable. Decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor heaters are great for cold nights.

Approximate cost: $15+

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. From outside you can't tell much because its a cafe downstairs, most of the seating is upstairs. It's very spacious and the waiters are very friendly. The food was tasty and had generous portions. However it's quite pricey for a standard cafe. I wouldn't come here all the time, but once in a while would be okay.

Café New York is my favourite place for catching up with friends over cakes and tea/ coffee. I usually come here after my shopping or for my late night supper. The coffee is perfect and their cake size is huge, with a scoop of ice-cream on the side as well. I love the New York cheesecake and the Tiramisu. They have great deals in the afternoons where you can get a piece of cake and tea/ coffee for $6.90 which is really cheap when elsewhere sells >$9 for only a piece of cake. They serve lots of other hot food as well. For late night supper, I usually order the potato wedges and the mango frappe. I always request a table inside as the tables outside on the streets can be quite noisy and the dust of the cars can get onto the food, which is not good.

Approximate cost: $15

The place of the coffee do not really remind me of New York really. I was expecting something different when I first walked in.

Coffees are fine, comfy seats, decent service, but none really stands out for me. Not exactly a great coffee break place, but a good one to just chill out on.

Nothing out of the ordinary, but a great place for breakfast or lunch and a catch up with friends. Good selection of food in a great location.

Been to Chatswood so many times simply to shop so therefore always eaten in the food courts as seemed the majority of choices outside of the mall were Asian (not a huge fan). But came across this little gem of a place! The food was delicious!! SO fresh and cooked to perfection. My BF had the burger (he is like the KING of burger connoisseurs) and he loved it. I asked if the chef could wipp me up a large salad with grilled chicken. Wow was brilliant. Even had a FREE glass of vino! Guys give this a shot you won't be dissapointed.

Approximate cost: $12-15
