This place is never as full as you would expect from the size and quality of their meals. I suspect that if they were in North Adelaide, they would be quite busy. Their pizza is the equal of any pizza around that area!
So disappointing. Have been here a couple of times now. First visit was excellent, fabulous delicious breakfast. Second visit, tasteless pasta and terrible service. Left unimpressed and looked elsewhere for a meal.
I find it quite annoying when there is bad customer service and a terrible meal just makes it so much worse. Thanks to your review I will make sure that I do not visit this place in the future.
Came in here for a quick lunch. The large area has plenty of seating for the busy lunch time period and is well serviced. Had a sandwich and a very nice coffee. It is near Hindmarsh Square so it services many office buildings etc
I've visited this cafe twice, once with my partner for a dinner, and once with a large group for a friend's birthday. The first time I had the pasta and it was pretty tasty. The second time I had the pizza and it was delicious, which is impressive as I'm hard to please when it comes to pizza! The waiting staff were friendly and polite. My only issue was that it was a very big area yet there weren't all that many customers dining at any one time. I believe this is because it is more popular as a lunch time destination, so hopefully I will be more pleased if I visit for lunch.
A cafe has been on this site cnr Pulteney street and Pirie street for many many years and it is now Amore Cafe. Serves breakfast lunch dinner cocktails coffee suiting the time of day. Enjoyed the pasta I had for lunch and the coffee was good too. Lunch menu around the 12-15 dollar range which is fine. Nice size serves too.

THe food portions are really quite big and are of good quality. THeir menu range is quite extensive. They are able to host functions and even have games for the kids there.
I tried the risotto there and it was to die for. Went on a Sunday lunch and hardly anyone there. Meals are quite big but also quite pricey. Has a wide range of Italian food.
I have dined at this cafe several times and could not fault anything about the food or service. Extensive menu. Prices probably a bit higher than average but well worth it.
