Not overflowing, but not empty.
It's in a prime location, so you would expect it to be decent.
Just stopped in for a coffee this time.
At $3.80 for a long black, I was expecting something awesome! I was disappointed. Coffee wasn't good.
Even in the middle of the city, it's only $3.50 for something decent. I think I'll stay to somewhere closer to home

It's an ok place.
Nothing too fancy, but that could be the appeal.
Somewhere non-descript where you can conduct your transactions. Haha

Granted it was a while ago, but I remember being quite impressed with their lasagne and the garlic bread. I was there with friends from work and it flowed pretty well, with our meals coming out within a reasonable time and no complaints. We sat outside and although the traffic was fairly busy, it was enjoyable.

My mum and I decided to pop in here for dinner on our way to a concert at the Entertainment Centre. We entered into the restaurant and looked for someone to show us to a table. We requested to sit outside, being a pleasant night, the waitress said she would bring out the menus. We waited outside at our table for 15-20mins and still had no menus. I went in again and grabbed my own menus from the counter. We chose what we wanted and waited another 10mins for the table service that they promised, still nothing. So I went inside, ordered meals/drinks and paid. The waitress who took our order said that it was table service, and I told her we had not had any service since arriving 1/2 hr ago! The food was ok, the garlic bread came out after our main pasta meals. Was a nice atmosphere but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

A cut above the average caffe food. Good value, service with a genuine smile. Also they remembered what I like to drink from the last time I came, at least six months ago!

I am a regular at Cafe Cena. Their service is always great and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a pleasant dining experience. Prices are standard cafe prices but the quality of the food is well worth it.

Approximate cost: $20
