When ever we go to Airlie, we usually go early and have breakfast here. The food is great and a decent size. Wish they didn't take the breakfast steak off the add ons but. Love the food and its just across the road fro mthe beach and Weekend Markets.

The food, atmosphere and service were second to none and this place is simply amazing. The prices are as you would expect for the service and quality and it is certainly not a cheap place to eat, but well worth it for a special occasion. I would definitely eat here again.

Approximate cost: $40

45 minute wait for bacon and eggs (which were poached hard). 6 other tables in the whole room. During the wait a male staff member asked (gruffly) if he could help us !! I think he thought we were squatting at one of his tables. Unimpressed, we showed him our order 'flag' and he left us in silence. Shortly afterwards the food arrived. Real shame, as this is a very nice looking establishment. Will give it a miss in the future.

They handled both a big family dinner (7 adults and a toddler) and a small meal for two, quite well. The food was amazing, and well matched with various wine recommendations. Yummy mocktails as well (I recommend the Mint Moment - a mojito without rum). Each time our waitress formally introduced herself and kept an eye on our needs, which was nice. The only hassle was each visit they made a mistake with the drink! First time they delivered my husband and mine drinks to the wrong table, and the next time they forgot my wine altogether (which I had specifically ordered to go with my risotto). It's a lovely location though, and if you can, definitely sit outside!

It's relaxed, casual & a great atmosphere to kick back & socialize. It's set up a bit like a pub inside but the food is definitely up a few notches from that. Dining outside is the best option, it's quiet & breezy, & has a restaurant feel to it. I recommend the vegetarian tart with cous cous - amazing!!
