I don't kno how his place survives, especially with all the new burger places popping up everywhere that serve gourmet burgers. This place is a great gimmick and I would have loved it had the burgers been good. But they were on an even lower par than a fish and chip shop burger. They were just really bad - poor quality meat, cheap ingredients all just slapped together. I wanted to love this place, I really did, but it was overpriced and forgettable.

I recently visited here for a friends birthday party I was pleasantly surprised at the number of food & drinks they have on offer. Everything was good and we all had a great time. Will like try a second in the near future.

Went here a few years ago burgers are to die for prices tad over the top but for quality well worth it polite friendly staff willbe back again one day

I thought the restaurant was fantastic. We went here a couple of days ago for dinner and my partner and son did the burger challenge. It think it was about $32, if you finish your meal your get your name on the wall of fame. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly, I would reccomend this place to my friends :)

My husband and I first tried Captain America's many many years ago when it was in Lilydale. We were quite sad when it closed. But while visiting family in Melbourne we were informed that there was one in Ferntree Gully, so we knew we had to check it out.
We really enjoyed ourselves, the meals are still huge and I still couldn't finish my burger, loved the onion rings and buffalo wings. All food consumed was enjoyed by all, but no one could finish their meal. Booking ahead is essential as otherwise you might miss out. The staff were very friendly, overall it was a fun meal out and would definitely recommend to others.

If you intend to eat here make sure you take your appetite with you. The meals are huge. The burgers are enormous, you can even upsize them for an extra $6.50, believe me, you would not be able to eat it. Loved their onion rings and ribs, had them as a shared starter (big mistake). Could not finish my burger and fries, really enjoyed my meal as did the rest of my family. You really have to book a table otherwise you might be disappointed. Friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Went here a while ago we had a wonderful night.great range of food to choose from Big meal sizes,is a little bit pricy burgers starting from $ 12.50. You can try the Big Heavenly Burger Challenge,you have 1 hour to eat this if you can do it your name goes onto the honour board it's a 1 kilo burger& 600g of chips good luck. You should really make a booking as it does get quite busy.Overall we had a great night and the staff are pleasant. Fully stocked cocktail bar?

If you love hamburgers this is the place to be. Captain America's have a wide range of hamburgers to choose from or they do offer hot dogs, ribs or steak. If they have a burger there with something you don't want on it they will happily remove it for you. They also stock American soft drinks and beer. It is fully licenced. Meals are a decent size. A little pricey but worth it.

i went here quite a while ago. it took about an hour & a half for our food to arrive. however the place is very quirky lots of funny quotes on the wall. you can pay a small fee and take a chance to spin a wheel and see if you win your meal for free.
