I am building a single store house and construction started just before Christmas, 2022 and it has not completed yet. At the moment, the supervisor i have is a fifth supervisor since the beginning of construction. All supervisors are very unapproachable. They do not respond to my messages or phone calls. I have to contact them through home coordinator. PCI was booked in for 25/7/23 @ 9 am but supervisor calls me at 9:15 am and tells me that PCI has to be cancelled because the house is not ready for PCI. He says garage door is still 2-3 weeks way to be installed. How irresponsible act is this?
Also, at colour selection i requested if i can have double door but they denied saying that double doors are only for double storey house. But, i can see other single storey house from Carlisle in my street which is under construction has a double door. This tells me that Carlisle has a discriminatory rules towards its customer.
The feelings i am having right now towards Carlisle is very bad. I would not recommend anyone to Carlisle.

If I could give no stars i would. Worst builders very unprofessional no follow up and very uncertain work completed followed the requirement for compliance. We are out of pocket close to 8k over a plumbing incident that was fault with builders at construction stage. And when we called our site supervisor he was very quick to pass the blame. On top of all this head office emailed another clients invoice with their personal details this is a breach of privacy and scares me that my personal details received the same little amount of care.

Think before you choose Carlisle, I’ll not recommend, I was regretted to had Carlisle build my house, price was high but jobs was very poor.. My house not even six years, warranty department said “ not structured issues doesn’t fall under warranty “ ,

[Retracted inflammatory comment] a day before Tender they told me my site cost will be $60,000. Next door neighbor have more fall on land still their builder charged him $24000. Very rude when you ask them about site cost question. after catching them red handed they refused to build for me.

Poor start, after color browse we were kept waiting for nearly 2 months for them to get back on site survey results. Very poor customer satisfaction. I am very unhappy with the way Carlisle homes failed to communicate with us throughout the entire process. We were told to hurry up although they have been delaying the process from their end.

Built with Carlisle Homes 2 years ago and would do it again with them in a heartbeat. They were professional, understanding, helpful, and accommodating. Of course no build goes 100% smoothly, but as an overall, I was very pleased with this builder.
Any problems, they were quick to rectify. Any issues, they were quick to solve. They were always happy to provide me with any information I requested. The quality of the build was really good, especially compared to some other builders. The quality of the materials CH use is high. The quality of their work is high.
The one negative I found with CH was that there was often errors in their paperwork/drawings. So I always had to study the paperwork/drawings, but as soon as I brought the error to their attention it was quickly rectified.
I found them quite accommodating regarding making changes to the plan/contract, and even allowed some changes without incurring Post Contract Variation charges.
Their Spectra display centre in Mulgrave is fantastic - giving you an opportunity to view most materials in person, without having to travel around to all the suppliers to view each product (ie. tiles, bricks, doors, carpets, laminate flooring, toilets, baths, sinks, ovens, rangehoods, etc).
The build was completed in approx. 3 months, which I was satisfied with.
They were more than happy to allow private inspections throughout stages of the build.
After seeing a bad review of CH online prior to contract signing, I almost cancelled the whole thing. But I ended up discussing my concerns with the sales lady at Lyndhurst (who was so fantastic) and ended up going ahead with it. Building is hard work, but I would do it all over again and I would definitely do it with Carlisle Homes next time.

the sales man tells you one price then when you get a confirmed price from the office its totally different to what you have given a deposite for, they also excessively charge my site costs considering my friend is building next door with another builder and got quoted less than half the costs i was quoted.

Approximate cost: $176,000
