I would highly recommend the young Scott at Carpet Shack. He has been professional, business-like on both occasions I have carpeted my house with him. I went straight back to him for carpet when I built a new house, after the service I had from him. Nothing was too much trouble!
HOWEVER
Today when I went back to the store, I got [redacted personal identifier]! The customer service was appalling. 1,000 words were spent telling me I was a waste of time, aggressively, kept going on and on when I put into 5 words what I wanted. There were too many emails and phone calls needing to be made that were far more important. Complete rudeness. I will never go back to the store, and will certainly let my family and friends (especially those that I had recommended the shop to previously) not to go near there! By far the rudest worst customer service I have ever had! Almost "shop rage"! Avoid!

I had been into this shop on 3 occasions getting a few ideas. had spoken to Scotty, very decent guy . When I left the 3rd time he said when your ready, come and we'll look after you. So when we were ready to make final decisions I took my husband in on a Saturday morning. Scotty wasn't in, so we spoke to his off sider- we soon learnt that he was "off" all right. Never in all my life had I been spoken to like it. After spending about 5 mins with us he changed his tune and started to tell us to get out of the shop, wasn't interested in the job (worth about $10,000) stop wasting his time, plenty of other carpet shops around that will look after you, told us we couldn't take any carpet samples home , wasn't going to give us a good deal ,would keep putting the price up higher & higher, plus a lot more to pathetic to waste time writing, by now I was ready to bust into tears, as we had gone into that shop having decided that it was where we were going to purchase out carpet. My husband & I asked for our plan's back and went outside the shop and just stood there, never had we had such an awful experience. We felt numb. So sorry Scotty, I would've loved to have dealt with you , but I could never set foot into that shop again. He did also tell us that you would say the same.?????? We went around the corner to another Carpet Shop and have been looked after like a customer should be. Good on ya "Carpet Choice" Thanks for the wonderful helpful & friendly service

As the store owner I am glad you were able and happy to make a carpet purchase elsewhere. I recall your many visits to our store. On meeting your husband he said that he acknowledged that "you were extremely hard people to please" As you will both recall your husband came behind my desk and stood over my shoulder whilst I set down to the task of working out the 5 different quotation you had requested. You will also recall that I asked your husband politely to remove himself from behind my desk and my personal space and to have a seat in front of the desk with yourself as the 5 quotations you requested would take approx 1 hour.
You were never told to leave the store at any point but I did in fact point out that there were other stores that might better serve your needs. We are proud of our long track record of customer service and relationships and would like to point out to the casual observer that it is not only retailers and sales staff that can be rude.
Sometimes but thankfully rarely their are customers that can also fit that description.
I too had an horrendous experience here with the management staff being possibly THE worse example of a sales person I have ever come across. The management staff was downright rude, unhelpful and when I politely asked a simple question re carpet types was told if I wanted advice to go to the nine other carpet shops close by and don't waste their time! It turned out they had back pain so they should do all potential customers a favour and stay well away from the customers. Unbelievable! However, the other sales assistant was fantastic so it's a great shame the management staff insists on taking on the floor and the shop gets poor reviews as a result.
That's what we got too.
I'm lucky didn't go in a business with them. The way they treat me in front of my family was really embarrassing. I've never seen such customer service, using the word "f..." and ask me to get out from shop without doing anything or saying. That's unprofessional.

BEWARE!!! Stay away from this place!! This place is horrible! I went in to buy some carpet and the sales staff was so rude and said I wasn't worth their time and told me to get out!? I understand if your having a bad day but no one ever should be treated like this! Let alone a paying customer! I advise to look elsewhere when buying carpet.

As promised, came back for more. Scott and team once more gave everything they promised, from product, to price and on time. I cannot recommend too highly the service, after sales service, professionalism and knowledge of this company. I could not imagine going elsewhere for mr flooring needs! I will be Back again for my next flooring needs later this year. Please give Scott a call!
