Such an amazing and vast place. The products are very amazing and this place is a must for vintage lovers.

A bit of a Melbourne icon, this place is really fun to potter around on a Saturday afternoon. But does anyone actually buy anything? Possibly not... It can be really hard to find staff to help you or to figure out how much certain things are. In a way that's part of the fun, but it's also annoying!

Love this place. Most items good quality. I don't find it expensive - vintage items are rare and unique, and most are better quality than today's imported junk! Of course you should expect to pay someone for sourcing cool stuff you can just walk in and buy. Staff are a little intimidating but OK if you're buying! Have they got eftpos yet? That can be annoying.

Approximate cost: $35

I love this place! You can find little treasures that you don't see anywhere else! Even if you are not looking for anything in particular it is almost like a museum of 'stuff' in there! It is a little difficult to actually make the purchase though...eg getting the product and finding a staff member to help you.

I love this store and I could spend hours in there looking at all the cool little treasures! Don't bother asking the staff to help you find stuff, just walk around yourself and enjoy discovering neat knik knacks and little gifts. Has great vintage stuff and hard to find toys, furniture, anything. Everything is a bit on the pricey side, but that is what you would expect from interesting antiques. I love collecting the glass ceramic colored eggs and they had plenty, so I was very pleased.

Approximate cost: $18

Everytime I go to Melbourne, I make sure to go to Chapel Street Prahran. This Bazaar has SO much to look at! You can't help but pay a little bit more for the items. The collectables are great! SO SO MUCH!

Although, it does get expensive, as soon as they have a sale on, I'LL BE BUYING ONE OF EVERYTHING i reckon'.

I love getting my retro clothing from here also.

I could happily spend a whole morning browsing the collectables and treasures at the Chapel Street Bazaar, ther prices are a little expensive, but there is so much stuff in one place, I always find something interesting that I have to have! the staff are helpful if you want to view something in a locked cabinet, and everything is well ordered and easy to browse. A wonderful aladdins cave!
