I'll occasionally grab a cup of coffee from here. Great place to sit and relax and watch people walk by on Swanston street. Could be a bit more cleaner and would be great to have more chairs. The staff are nice, and trivia night was great a few months ago and hope they do it again soon.

This is my favorite Vietnamese Restaurant. The salt and pepper squid is delicious, as are the spring rolls, fried ice cream, and the green tea ice cream is my favorite. They are usually always packed at dinner time, and I find it's best to call in advance and make a booking just to be sure. Great food!

Being a New Yorker, I'm pretty particular about my pizza and how I like it. I'd have to say that NYPD is probably the closest in Melbourne to tasting like real NY pizza. They aren't perfect, but definitely better than pizza hut or dominoes.

I use paypal for all my online shopping, especially on ebay. It's super safe and easy. Some of the fees for transferring money or whatnot are a bit annoying, but other than that paypal is great.

I've been bringing my 2 cats to this Vet for over 3 years now. They are fantastic, affordable, and really do care about your little babies. When our cat Kody swallowed a meter of string, they got him right in as it was an emergency and everything was perfect within a few hours. They even let us see photos they took from inside his belly, and explained everything about procedures and what we should expect in his recovery. Fantastic people, and I always feel comfortable just giving them a call to ask for advice if our cats are sick. Can not recommend them enough.

I love this store and I could spend hours in there looking at all the cool little treasures! Don't bother asking the staff to help you find stuff, just walk around yourself and enjoy discovering neat knik knacks and little gifts. Has great vintage stuff and hard to find toys, furniture, anything. Everything is a bit on the pricey side, but that is what you would expect from interesting antiques. I love collecting the glass ceramic colored eggs and they had plenty, so I was very pleased.

I got my first pair of running shoes from here and the staff helped me figure out which ones were best, and they worked within my price range. Loved the foot imprint machine... would buy from here again!

I love misty's! Absolutely amazing food and so much to choose from. As a homesick American I love buying the drinks like Canada dry and getting the Whatchamacallits. Yum! The moz cheese sticks with ranch dressing are to die for, and the thick shakes are awesome. I usually try to leave a small amount of american money as a tip when I go since the food and service are always awesome!

We had a blocked toilet and the plumber that came over was absolutely great! He did his job professionally, was friendly, and it actually ended up being completely free to us, because the blockage was further down the pipe, so body corporate ended up paying! Would absolutely use Jim's plumbing again. Great rates too!

I went to Lee after reading all the fantastic reviews here on Womow. I must admit, she is a really lovely person and has a beautiful salon and gave me a great cut, but she did not do a good job on my color. I wanted to go blonde with all over highlights, and when I left it looked like I had just had a few highlights done, but I was still brunette. I was sort of alright with it at the time, but when I got home I noticed that the whole back of my head was a weird orange color and there were streaks throughout my hair and bands of color all on the sides. I was horrified :( I felt terrible because I never spend money on my hair, and the one time that I was treated as a present to get my hair done at a salon it was ruined. I went to another salon the next day and paid $400 to get my hair redone and fixed as much as possible. The hairdresser said that the color had bled out of the foils and that is what created the weird bands throughout my hair, and she said it looked like an all over color had been applied to just the back of my head where it was all orange. I only wanted all over foils to go blonde, not to end up with weird streaky orange hair :( I was so upset, but I'm a very shy person and couldn't get up the courage to call Lee and tell her how I felt. Also, Lee charged me $220 to which I gave her $250. I should have recieved $30 in change but I was only given $20. Again, I didn;t realise this until I had left. Lee was very nice to me, so it's hard to write this negative review, but I would hate for the same thing to happen to someone else.
