Having been to Balsamic Restaurant several times over the past few months, the service and food have been different each time.

First, I had a dinner of Cesar Salad. It was really great! But slow and inattentive service.

Second, for lunch. Ordered simply coffee and cake. Poor service, stuffed up the order and was there for ages!

Thridly, last week we went for dinner on a Saturday night. They were very busy, but the food was AMAZING! The staff were really great, attended to our needs and i'll say it again, the food was AMAZING. (I had the Champagne Prawn Risotto) Yum!

I will visit again, but maybe not for lunch.

Recommended here over Pancake Parlor when seeing a movie at night.

Approximate cost: $24

Greville Records have a great selection of cd's and records, but every time I come into this shop its the same.

There's nothing interesting or unique in this store, and prices are a little high. I've only ever bought one record from here, nothing else that interesting.

Probably wouldn't use again..

This places atmosphere was incredible. It was so quaint and nice in here. My lunch was of a very high quality and tasted really great. Coffee's were pretty good too.

I gave value 5 Stars because they are very well priced in comparison to some other bars/restaurants there. I'm defiantly going back in the future to try another meal!

Café Seventy is just your average Café. It is situated at the top end of main street, Croydon. My lunch was average, at an average price too.

My only nag about this place is the atmosphere... THERE IS NONE! Its industrial and unappealing. I sat outside because it was that bland in there.

Nothing bad or good to say - just it was really average. I wouldn't use again.

I love Croydon Camera House! What can I say?? The staff are all very friendly and helpful (and knowledgeable too). You can print your photos for a great price, and also pick up equipment for your camera.

I purchased my SLR camera from here, and they were very helpfull. They even threw in a manual for the camera for free. I buy all my photography paper and dark-room supplies here. Other family members of mine print there digital photos.

I recommend for others. Students get a 5% discount of everything also.

This review is for Shag, Windsor VIC

Shag is a great collection of interesting cloths and retro pieces. I've bought many vests here, although the pricing is a little high for a second hand clothing store, there are still heaps of cool and exciting clothing here.

There is a great assortment of unique dresses for females, and they could be used great in a party.

Shag also stock a range of mens vintage pants, however this store is mainly for women.

The staff are friendly here and they have a great product range. They are also helpfull when i had some trouble with my SLR. They also gave me a great deal on a second hand SLR camera, along with a student discount. I use these guys all the time for film and photo prints. Nothing bad has happened and I enjoy there competitive prices.

This review is for Koko Black, Melbourne VIC

This comment refers to Royal Arcade Store;

Koko Black is a nice place for coffee' and chocolates. However, I feel like this business has become that much of a 'hot spot' to visit, it neglects certain aspects such as service and value. I feel like they can charge a higher price for a product just because its the place to be seen.

The seating is appalling here. It is cramped and damp. It feels like they've 'chucked us' in the roof. In peak times on weekends, due to the lack of seating you cannot get a seat in there at all. If you have a health problem such as climbing stairs, I wouldnt recommended coming here.

On the opposing side of Koko Black, there is an alley with a chocolate shop hidden. I much prefer to come here. The chocolate is much better, it is less busy and crowded, and most importantly - a fairer price.

I am not disregarding coming to Koko Black, but I prefer to go to the other shop.

Make sure you come here at least once. You gotta make your mind up by yourself about this place.

I agree with Nel.

I too was wowed with Soldsmart.com.au. There bargains were seemed great. But an item I bought almost ended in tragedy.

I bought a pair off secateurs (at a great price) and they arrived in a week. I was excited to receive them and jumped straight into the garden. I started pruning away and they were fine. Then, I went to cut a thicker branch. The branch was no more than 3-4cm thick, and as I clasped together, the top blade broke and flew straight past my ear. If it had hit me in the eye, I would have lost it for certain.

Previously to the secateurs, I bought a few solar lights and things, and I was not happy with the products. After inquiring about a products specifications, I was told to (and I quote),'try and find a similar product through a google search'. This service is horrible.

I am also angry because Soldsmart.com.au also trade under a different name ---- on EBAY!. They sell the same products starting at $0.99c. When you purchase it, you are redirected to the soldsmart online store to pay for the item. Very disappointing.

Don't buy from here. You've got your safety to look after.

This review is for DFO, Docklands VIC

DFO's advertisements are quit mis-leading. Personally I find that you don't actually save that much money on anything in here. If you do, it is probably last seasons or damaged stock. I find that most of the stores are not outlets, just another business in one of the many franchises (such as JJ's, Cotton On, etc:).

It is not pleasant to shop here. I feel like I am in a half-assed, jazzed up warehouse with similar priced stock that you would find elsewhere. They do have an assortment of all types of stores, mainly clothing though. I would much rather prefer to go into the city itself.

I must however, give kudos to the Chocolate cafe' the station end of DFO. It is a very nice place for chocolate and coffee's. Also the Sunglasses outlet (forget the name) have genuine discounts on sunnies.

Other than the Chocolate place, I dislike going to DFO and won't be going there again. If your traveling from out of town into town, don't add DFO to your itinerary, even though it is right next to the station. You will waste a good hour or so trying to find something that is actually 70% off.
