I adore Chefs Gallery, the noodles are meant to be hand made, the soups are delish and the meat is tender and vege is fresh. The only thing is that it is so popular, maybe a booking is a good idea.

The food has been on point on every single occasion I've dined here; from the noodle soups to the dumplings and stir fries.
It is a great venue for quick a pre-movie dinner, being located just a couple of doors up from the George Street cinemas.
For some dining entertainment, grab a seat along the counter along the open kitchen to experience food theatre at its best. The chefs expertly stretch and spin dough into paper thin roti, and twist and twirl strands of noodles.

a bit pricey but the food are excellent. noodles was freshly made. They will ask you if you have bookings with them when you arrived but when you call them to book they will just tell you to go there. I love the platter of dimsim and noodles of course!

Chef's Gallery is my favourite places to go eat lunch in the Sydney CBD. I love ordering the pork pot stickers and the handmade noodles. Their pork floss roti is also very good. I just wish they would stop changing the menu so often because some of my favourite things are no longer on the menu.

Depends on what you are after , quality food then yes I love this place so much!
Though things are a little on the higher end of the scale, it belong to the case where people say "every penny is worth it". Me and my partner love coming here every month or so. We would order a few dishes and their "Dan Dan noodle" , one of our favourites
The service though, is naturally not as attentive. They do have a lot of staff mind you, but a lot of customers as well. so ....

This restaurant is located in the heart of the city and is very popular. They have a great selection of tasty dumplings at reasonable prices. However the service is quite poor. Lunch and dinners are always busy and you can tell the staff get stressed easily. If you're looking for atmosphere, this is it. But if you're after an intimate lunch or dinner, look elsewhere.

This is a good yum cha restaurant compare with others in chinatown, the food is not too bad, you don't feel that you need to rush to eat. the environment is a bit noisy and the price is average, however dont expect the customer service. For the dinner is also good to try some cantonese style seafood.The decor and ambience is just really like any chinatown restaurant. The service for a restuarant in the City is what you would expect to be better, Nonetheless, seafood is nice.

The prices are definitely not worth the amount and quality of food you receive. Decent food though, It's not going to blow your socks off. Overall, overpriced and disappointing.
But then The handmade noodles are awesome - smooth, just chewy enough, and unfathomably uniform given that they really are handmade (you can see the chefs stretching the dough in the glass-walled kitchen). We still enjoy the food, and hope to check around next time!

I went to this restaurant last month and order the fried rice. It actually quite nice. and the price is reasonable considering it is in the city and the chef there put a little bit of a show as well. Good value strongly recommended

The fried rice that I ordered was really nice but the portion size is way too small for a normal adult. I felt more like a tasting menu than a real meal. the hand made noodle shows is cool, if you could get a table near the glass window will be nice.
I still will recommend my friends to have a try as they serve very good food.
