Really like the ambience here. There was a nice range of fine cakes and desserts at quite an affordable price.

Love this little cafe/patisserie!! They offer desserts, macarons, pastries, a selection of freshly made baguettes & serve main dishes. The also have larger versions of particular desserts available to purchase as cakes. The coffee is top quality in Melbourne also. The dining area is quite large offering several seats inside and out. They cater for larger groups with about 3 communal tables. The fitting is minimal warehouse style with the kitchen open and located for viewing. Typically busy during the weekend, staff are according & will inform you of the wait or even call you when your table is free if you'd like to leave then come back. Great service & value for money... try the chocolate & passionate fruit mousse.

A really nice place, that feels like a secret society. The menu offers a very good range of options to everyone will find something to order, whether it is a salad, eggs breakfast, sweet breakfast, gourmet baguette or cake.
The prices are ok considering it is south melbourne. The cakes were a bit one dimensional (only mousse cakes) and pricey (at $9 for a 2" portion) though. Service is ok.

We went to Chez Dre for the first time last Sunday and everything was so awesome! The ambience of the place, the food, the price and the service. This restaurant is definitely a perfect place to have brunch with your friends and family. Their desserts (such as cakes and coffees) are worth to try after you finish the main meal. The negative thing of this restaurant is the wasting time for a table( normally at least 15 -20 minutes). But overall, very much liked it!

A great brunch meet up with friends! The food is really good quality and matches the friendly service. It's very popular and you're not able to book but it's definitely worth the wait - especially if you go in and order a takeaway coffee and pastry to start :)

I normally stop in here for a macaroon or three. The options are endless and I feel like a kid in a candy store. The team is always friendly which is just an added bonus.

Amazing desserts and coffee, we have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed here. Cakes and macaroons immaculately presented, service impeccable.

This place is amazing. They have wi fi and server amazing coffee. They also give the perfect amount of attention and service. Their cakes and pastries are divine. It's one of my favourite mid week afternoon haunts. Be warned on Saturday it is packed due to the Sth Melbourne Market, so get in early.

This place is Amazing, very memorable and has been on my mind ever since I have had the pleasure of coming here My mother and I were seriously impressed and can't wait to go back. You can even watch them making the cakes through the see through glass.
One of the best cafes I have been to. Highly recommend to all

Worth the hype - yes! Lunch was tasty and well seasoned, big portion but perhaps a tad pricey. Macaron? Worth every penny!!! And the selection of other sweet things had me wishing I had skipped the salad and just had dessert. Yum. Will be back for more

Approximate cost: $14
