The new owners of chicken Hutt need to go . I ended up walking out. The gentleman and I had to tell the Indian girl that the gravy goes over the chips, not the meat on the roll. He said he'd been waiting long enough. The girl looked scared and couldn't understand English. The salads aren't as nice as what they use to be. The shop isn't as clean as it use to be. The roasts aren't as nice either. Won't be going again.

The new owners-grrr customers waiting too long to order - the lady taking the orders needs to focus and just serve - not be so busy organising everyone else - let them do their jobs and you do yours - miss the old owners

Yeah, they do well this place.
It says chicken, but I love the hot dogs.
Yes, it's a bit on the generic side. I mean how hard is it to do a hot dog? But these guys manage to do it exceptionally well.

Best chips in the south! Always cooked perfectly with a smile! Salads are fresh and all on menu is reasonably priced.
Call and order first as they can get busy!

Approximate cost: $9.00

Have picked up a few chickens for the family on way home a couple of times now, always fresh and delicious, never dry. We tried the yiros found it to be very tasty and the chips crisp. Friendly efficient staff and take away food at a very reasonable price.

This is now our favourite chicken shop in the area, and we use it frequently. Their chickens have a delicious flavour and ‘the stuffing is excellent'. The chips are cooked to request – ours are well cooked – soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The range of salads is excellent and well priced. I love the chicken pasta one and my husband's favourite is the seafood salad. Apart from chickens they have a great variety of other take-away meals.

Have always found their chickens to be great.

These guys definitely deserve a mention in the good cooked chicken books. I love their roast packs and who can say no to a $10 yiros? Chicken wise, they do very well and their chips aren't too bad either.

Approximate cost: $avg

I have picked up some chickens from here a few times on my way home. Always fresh, never dry.

Thanks for your mention of the yiros. We might have this as our next takeaway instead of our usual delicious chicken.

Wanting a quick meal, I stopped in to the Chicken Hutt. The variety is great. They sell all the usual take away, but what singles them out is they sell roast meat meals every day. Beef, pork or you can have a combination of both. They are served with roast potatoes, pumpkin, peas and carrots. They are delicious. Roast dinner any day of the week. The salad bar has at least 10 different salads, its so hard to choose. All made fresh everyday. On top of all this they are the only take away shop so far south that I have found that sell atomic bombs. A big favourite in my family. The staff are friendly, and always welcome you with a smile. The pricing is great. Perfect for those on a budget. Roast meals for $10. That's value.

Fantastic value food !! Fish and chiPa is slightly higher price than barnacle bills but still a goOd feed for the price. Salads are made fresh daily and I have never received food that I haven't enjoyed. Schnitzel packs with veg are only $11 so still cheaper than a pub meal and just as filling

This chicken shop has a lot more than chicken. In fact I tend to come here when I don't want chicken, but the chicken is always good just too many other more appetizing choices available. It's in a small shopping centre so parking is no problem.

They do fantastic roast packs and always have pork, beef AND lamb - not just one each day. If you're feeling seedy and need something a little greasy after a big night out their potato bake is mouth watering.

They also do Yiros Stack Packs. Basically yiros meat with pita bread, chips and sauce of your choice. And they even have the balls to name the beef one Mad Cow!

And if you have a sweet tooth.........make sure you grab a deep fried mars bar!!! The only place I know that sells them (sure there are probably others but I don't know where).
