I went for a wig but Mary said I just needed a topper! I was just so over my own hair and the amount of work it needed every day. I am thrilled with the topper! It’s brilliant!! Today Josie did a beautiful job of cutting the front to blend with my own hair and style! It looks so natural just so much better!! Thank you Mary and Josie!

I have been purchasing from Chiquel online for a couple of years now and I never really took any notice of their prices until the recent Black Friday sale (30% off), when I compared the price to what I paid earlier in the year at 20% off.

Today I went on-line to check the price again of a wig I regularly buy, I did this because I felt they had jacked the price up for the sale, only to offer a larger discount if purchased.

Reality is that if you bought the wig at the sale price and the discount was applied, the price didn't really change at checkout compared to that which was offered before the Black Friday Sale .

Anyway, today that wig's full price is $805.28, whereas in April when I purchased it, the full price was much lower at $589.95... so in 8 months the wig has increased in its full price by $215.33! Really?

In addition, it takes them 10 days just to start the process of sending the wig, other stores process immediately.

I'm frustrated and annoyed by their marketing tactics - shame on you Chiquel.

From the moment I spoke to Mary on the phone to book an appointment, I knew I had found the right place for a solution to my hair loss. To-day I  have a beautiful head of hair which looks so natural and makes me feel really confident. I look like I used to now, only much more so. Mary was so kind and put me at ease so quickly. I tried on numerous wigs and discussed each one with her. I had put off getting a wig because I was embarrassed about talking to anyone about my hairloss, but got tired of wearing hats and trying to disguise it. The price was most reasonable  and the confidence that I have back now is incredible. My wig is so comfortable, and so easy to manage, and maintain, and looks great. I highly recommend Chiquel in Moonee Ponds, Melbourne. Mary is so patient and understanding, and obviously loves giving people back their confidence and smile.

Love my new wig i purchased from Chiquel.... I've been wearing wigs for years, they are definitely ahead of the rest from the other wig companies out there! Also Mary was absolutely lovely to be served by.

Just recently went into the moonee ponds location and was thrilled to finally find a local salon who got my hair colour spot on.. the first round!! Also rapped with the clip in hair extensions i left with. Will be back.. thanks girls great job!

When I went here it was because I had a voucher for a cut, colour, some highlights and a blow wave for $150. Unfortunately they didn't match my regrowth to my hair colour, so it looked pretty tacky. It wasn't a hard job so I was pretty disappointed that they didn't do a really good job. I felt that I could have done it better myself so I haven't been back since.
