i love my empanadas and churros and i know what they should be like..though i was disappointed with the empanadas this time when i went here they were way too small for $3.00 each and they had hardly any filling they didnt seem baked more like fried yet they took ages to make them..and i really wanted to enjoy some empanadas this day to get some traditional tastes of home but not wat i got..the churros were ok too expensive for my liking and i found the place wasnt run by south americans at all..totaly different culture to be cooking making food from south america maybe thats why the food jus didnt resemble what i expected..the staff were really friendly and enthusastic and i did eat them all anyhow

Hi, I am unsure when you visited our shop, since Empanadas have been $3.90 each for a long time. Regardless, I am sorry if you did not like them. We are filling them up to the limit, mostly with beef/chicken/pork/spinach & cheese or tuna. We compared them with imitations around and ours are much bigger and fuller, generally considered excellent value for money. The primary difference with original South American ones is that ours are deep fried rather than cooked in the oven, because most customers refuse even to wait for 10 minutes to fry them, for sure they will have an issue with waiting 30 minutes or more to cook them in the oven.
We need to cater for local taste primarily.
If you consider our churros expensive, what would you think of a famous franchise competitor, whose prices are between 2 and 3 times ours...

hi in response to your comment i wasnt saying you have had a price change its been the same price i just couldnt remember the exact price so said around $3.oo but its even more!! i am stating that the size of empanadas are small in reference to their price i know of a few empanada places ..and churro places that are not franchises that have regular sized empanadas at around the same price as yours in comparison you get more food for the same price and you feel full and satisfied instead of still hungry and not satisfied at all..in regards to the frying over baking..ive never waited over 30/40 mins for them to bake them i think as any one would in the hospitality industry is to use common sense and pre cook the oven ones and have them already done and when someone orders you just heat them through again and their wait time is reduced..i have had fried ones also at other places and have never been disatisfied with their price/or their sizes value for money..i mentioned these things to provide feedback in order for you to find ways to improve your products/give more food for value for money and look at cooking methods and provide a more authentic/traditional products from south america to please south americans and there are many in the area..i do not go to franchises much at all i rather like the small little shops that cater to the needs of customers and their input of what is good and what isnt, franchises just mainly have a recipe card they read off to make a product rather than knowing how to do it themselves or having relatives that have taught them..it makes a huge difference and people can tell..thanks to yor response to my review and i hope to come in to taste an improved difference in your shop maybe even a baked one!!

Love this place, highly recommend it !!! The food and the service is great. I come from South America, so to find a place that resembles cooking so much like home is fantastic (especially when the owners are not South American nor Spanish).

New Management - "Appalling".
The chocolate dip for the churros look and smell like instant chocolate. It's runny and powdery.
The paper bag that carries the churro is 23 to 24 cm long and the churro use to come out of the paper bag. But now by measurement the churro is only 14cm long.
I will never come to this place again, this place is now under new management and they are terrible.

Management changed again, I am the new owner. Our prices are extremely competitive especially if you compare us to a famous franchise (search for churros and it will come up in google)

The pork empanadas are to die for!!! I've had their spanish omelette as well and that was fantastic. The owner and his wife (?) are so friendly and accommodating - it looks like a little cafe but they treated us like we were in a restaurant. The empanadas in particular do take awhile to come out, but are worth the wait! Don't miss the churros either! Highly reocmmedn this place!!
