I am only 19 years old and this was my first time renting a vehicle. I have a provisional 2 licence. It was practically impossible to find a rental vehicle for me in Port Douglas. Another car hire send me to Comet (next door). At Comet Car Hire i was able to rent a car for 6 days. Car was cheap on petrol and ran beautifully. There customer service was fantastic.They are open, honest and cleared all of my concerns . The security bond was back in my account within couple of working days. Overall my experience was great with this company. I am recommending Comet Car Hire Company to everyone over 18.

I hired a hyundai accent from you last weekend. just wanted to say i was very happy with the service from Comet Car Hire.The vehicle is brand new. The lack of hassle of returning the vehicle to the cairns airport was well worth it. i would gladly recommend Comet car hire place to everyone.

13/09 - Lady has called me to threaten me and she will not cancel my pre-auth i.e. $700 since I left my reviews and will take her time to cancel it as a revenge. I have an email from the business that car was dropped in the perfect condition and pre-authorization has been cancelled a day before. Absolute BULLYING!!
