I purchased item online they sent me picture of product when paid they wouldn't delivery had friend pick it up they gave the wrong item I live 2hours away refused to take any responsibility and was very rude and unhelpful saying up to me to return sent me a cheaper item by $30 didn't offer any money back had to drive 4hour round trip to fix their stuff up still no apology very poor,rude,and unhelpful never go back

I was unhappy with my experience at Country Kids, I felt the staff were looking down their noses at us. We spent over $600 in the store and asked for $20 off an item but were told no, we then asked for $10 off but were told it was full price or nothing, which I felt was unfair as their prices are already expensive. I have had difficulty with a product that I bought from this store, as one of the bolts is sheared and wont come off. I wont be back to this store due to the rudeness of staff and unsatisfactory quality of products.

great place to shop for your baby.I have purchased several large items from them for my children.
They stock a large range of cots, prams, carseats etc.
I've always found the staff to be extremly helpful, and the store will price match.
They also stock a large range of clothing for kids ranging from newborn to approx 10 years of age.
The store has good sales on their clothes and shoes at least twice a year

It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.. Cute prams.. amazing clothes. The price is a little high, but so is the quality!
The staff are friendly and very involved. They have been running the store since I was a kid!

I like to support this local small business because they are friendly and helpful and have a good range of quality childrens products,Staff will assist you to the car with items, order in products for you and are knowlegable about the products they stock.The childrens clothes are good designer quality clothes and I am often able to grab a bargain when they have decent sales.Their return policy is more than fair as I took a while to be totally satisfied with a brand of baby monitor I returned three different brands and they were always obliging.Parking is usually easy along curtis street or parking over the road at Big W is no problem. I have had no problem with snobbery and have been to this shop dressed in designer clothes and bag to match and a few times in my sloppy gear and have been given the same service.

I don't enjoy shopping here for the kids, yes they have great products with reliable brands but purchasing in the actual shop is a sour experience.
I went into the shop when I wasn't dressed up recently and was neglected service for I was judged by what I was wearing. I find this very offensive and I was disgusted by the looks that the staff gave me.
I wont be returning to this store no matter how good quality the products are. You could buy them elsewhere much cheaper.

Country kids has one of the best ranges of children's clothing in Ballarat. They have all of the popular brands. A great range of shoes hats and accessories for toddlers through to early teens.

Great quality items & fantastic customer service by all staff BUT ' most items ' whether it be nursery furniture or baby/children's clothing are expensive for the same items compared to those that I have seen in shops in Melb.
I think they must take advantage of the fact that they have no competition with their kind of shop in Ballarat.
If another company opened a shop with lower prices I can't see how Country Kids would survive. Especially if a large shop opened here like Baby Bunting or Baby Co.
