Even as residents of Ballarat we love to ride the tram once every couple of years with our daughter.

Staff are lovely.

The museum is terrific and I so enjoyed the old film footage.

Worth a ride on the tram and most certainly a visit to the museum across the road for tourists.

I've purchased chocolates several times for birthday gifts.

The iced chocolate is beyond delicious ... It actually looks beautifully presented and tastes out of this world !

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I'm glad they have gone back to bulk-billing.
I only go if desperate on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday when other medical centres are closed.
On average I've usually waited about 1hr & 10mins to 1hr & 30mins.
I've only ever had male GP's and they all have been nice enough and have certainly helped.
It's a shame there isn't more GP's available to take the load off sick patients waiting.
And worse still there is only one receptionist so if there is a queue you are kept standing in line for sometime ill.
I've never come across a friendly receptionist there and therefore make you feel like a second rate citizen, just what you don't need when you are feeling vulnerable and unwell.
Also having one receptionist covering such an enormous waiting room I haven't felt safe at night time as one particular time a couple clearly drug users where having a swearing domestic fight right in front of children and nothing was done about it. So you have to look out for your own safety there.
Although I have to say the staff in the chemist shop below the medical clinic are very friendly.

I love that Ballarat is so lucky to have a Darrell Lea shop here.
Sends me back to my childhood during the 1970's when I lived in Melbourne. It's amazing the shop still has the same delicious aromas.
The staff are always super friendly and make you feel welcomed.
I take my 7year old in here for the rare treat and she loves the children's lolly area.
BEST licorice allsorts ever !!! And white chocolate coated raspberries.

Good old fashion service I love.
They measure your child's foot for a proper fit.
And they stock children's Clarks shoes for school and also casual wear.
BEST range of women's winter boots, and high end quality and style.

I was super impressed on my first visit when someone walked in with their dog and the staff behind the counter gave the dog a dog treat.
The staff are so friendly and incredibly helpful, nothing is too much to ask.
I love how if you can't find something on the shelf the staff will check their computer to see if more stock in their storeroom.
They have by far the biggest range of pets and products I've seen in Ballarat.
The set up of the large shop was obviously well planned so very easy to find what you are looking for with signs everywhere, etc ...

I had friends from Melbourne stay here and it was a good set up for a few people to stay. The high ceilings are great. Bathroom big enough. Very clean and not shabby. Open plan lounge and modern kitchen.

I've tried several fish and chip shops in Ballarat and this is by far the BEST.
Chips and potato cakes are thick like homemade and are so DELISH . Not oily. And they have chicken salt available too.
Staff are always lovely and friendly.
Service is efficient.
Very clean shop if you chose to eat in there.

I found the staff here so friendly and explained the repairs in a language I understood as I know nothing about cars.
Also the receptionist was just the loveliest lady and helpful.

I had someone hit and run into my only 1year old car and Barry James service was so fantastic.
As a woman it was important to feel comfortable with the guys who gave me the quote and they were so wonderful and friendly.
The girls on reception were lovely, very efficient and helpful.
A very busy business which made me feel comfortable they clearly have a great reputation.
The workmanship on my car was absolutely brilliant. My car looked brand new again.
