store is cute, and has some cute things. not everything is worth $2.80. isles are kind of narrow. minimum $20 eftpos is a bit much, especially for store where everything is $2.80.

In Japan these shops are called 100 yen shops as everything is 100yen, which sadly translates to $2.80 here, not quite the same ring to it! Anyway they have the same great range here, although not as large as in Japan. Stock is constantly changing and there are lots of nice Japanese style dishes and bits and pieces, great origami paper and lots of fun things for kids. You should definitely check it out as you will find something you need and at $2.80 it won't break the bank!

Love this shop - everything is $2.80 - there is now a store in the city. Whenever I need little things for the kitchen I can always find it here. Only problem is getting assistance - but I suppose for $2.80 you can't have it all.

A variety store where you can stock up with cute Japanese-style homewares, snackfoods, stationery, giftware, toys, cosmetics and cleaning products. Everything is $2.80! Some items are pretty handy and good for a novelty. Given the low price, it's always easy to pick up a little cooking pot or a pair of slippers for $2.80! This is similar to the 100 Yen stores in Japan. Plenty of options as I believe there are 2 other discount variety stores in the same shopping complex.

Recommended - even if you are just window shopping.

Approximate cost: $2.80

Huge range of products, for almost everything you need, from tools to containers to food. The small shop carries a lot of stuff and all for $2.80. Great place to go if you can't find it anywhere or is more expensive elsewhere.

Daiso is a chain of shops originated from Japan offering everyday personal and household items which in Australia every item is priced at $2.80 only. There is stationary to kitchenware, toys, slippers, makeup to cleaning products which are either Made in Japan or China some of which you cannot buy from other shops, definitely worth a visit!
