Great service. Excellent food. Get a massive bowl of soup for just $7. I always get one of their soups and they always exceed my expectations. Great dumplings as well, and a free complementary tea whilst you enjoy their food. Though their bowls and cutlery tend to be a bit scratched from wear and tear, they are well worth it for the cheap price you pay.

I went there last week and now I am hooked. The fried pork dumpling were so tasty, nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They were also surprisingly not greasy at all. Also love their Shao Long Bao(Mini steamed pork buns). Would definitely go back for more in the near future. The prices are also very cheap and comes in big portions. The fried pork dumplings costs $7.50 for 15 big and tasty dumplings. Definitely value for money.

Like most Shanghainese restaurants, food at David and Camy's is laden with tremendous amounts of MSG. However, food is cheaper than other restaurants in the vicinity. Great value too - $8.50 for a good number of dumplings. Must try if you like dumplings!

For the best dumplings ever - head here! The other items on the menu are ok, but the best here are the dumplings, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce and their chilli oil! May not be common knowledge but you can also buy frozen dumplings and cook them at home. Great value and the best tasting we've had.

David and Camy is a family owned restaurant that gives a fantastic range of food for such an incredible price. Once ordered, the dishes come within minutes, ten minutes at the most. The atmosphere is bubbly and slightly noisy, and less comfortable than most being slightly dirtier, but the food will definitely not disappoint. There is not one dish I have disliked, everything is cooked to perfection and portion sizes are huge.
For three people being completely full, you are expected to pay around $25 including drinks. Fantastic value, and the famous fried dumplings will not disappoint! Whether you go for noodles, rice, soup or other food like dumplings or fried spring onion cakes, you will certainly not be left disappointed. There is choice for everyone, even on the tightest budget!
The staff are lovely, and the restaurant is always busy, so the only downside are the waits before eating. Certainly not somewhere that you could take a date, but great for a casual dining experience.

Always good. You might wait a couple of minutes for a table (always busy & full) but the wait is worth it. Dumplings are great, sizzling noodle plates are good, try the chicken wings and the ribs. Finger licking good. What you can't eat is put in a take away container + you can buy frozen pork dumplings if you want to give it a go at home.

I came here at 9;30 and wasn't expecting to stay and eat but to just get take away. The waitress made a point of saying that we couldn't stay to eat what I found was the worst was that people came in after us and she showed them to a table and their food got to them before we got our take away food even though we ordered and came into the shop before them. Was not happy here at all

The food tastes amazing, the value is amazing and i love it. I just wish the service was a little better and there was more room.

wow, these dumplings were magnificent. I highly recommend this place - good service, great food. The only drawback - don't pin your hopes on the Chinese tea sitting at the table. It's awful but free in a flask from which you just help yourself. We had the Steamed Peking Pork Dumplings and the Fried Chicken & Prawn (total bill $15.50) - these dumplings are EXCELLENT!!! We will definitely be back next Sunday.

They have the best Dumplings in town! I still crave for them till today. The other dishes that I had were so so, although I have to say we only went there once so I might change my mind after a few more visits

Approximate cost: $10
