I wouldn't say they have the best pizzas ever, but it certainly is of decent quality. Had oysters there which were large and fresh. Did not manage to stuff any dessert down but it looks humungous for its price ($8). Overall great value for money ( we paid $12 each for the 8 of us after a 25% off voucher) and a good dining experience. Would go there again!

Apte is well known for their all day breakfast menu. Its been raved about for ages so if you love a good wholesome breakkie, this place is a must go! As with all popular places it can get pretty crowdy in there so be prepared to wait a little. That didn't bother us though, the waitresses provide extremely good service. Very attentive and efficient, which is a huge plus for us! Wouldn't say its priced extremely well, but not bad considering its popularity and service. Nice!

They have the best Dumplings in town! I still crave for them till today. The other dishes that I had were so so, although I have to say we only went there once so I might change my mind after a few more visits

Its a little hideout that we found one day when they were having a $5.50 lunch special (How cheap is that?). Fell in love with it ever since! Food is great without the hefty price tag most restaurants charge, good for students or if you're simply on a budget. Must try dishes are their 'xiao long baos' (Best I've ever had in Melbourne), red bean pancake as well most of the seafood dishes (They are guaranteed fresh). The chef can generally cook up any dish you request, so bring your imagination when dining here
