Upon discussion with Detlevs, I have arrived at the conclusion the problem lies with Eurolinx, Appliances Online and their communication.
I apologise to Detlevs for a previous negative review.
It is difficult to understand who is responsible when there are so many agencies involved.

Hi Sally, we understand your frustration with your oven glass shattering, however we don't feel your one star rating is warranted as the information you have noted in the review is not entirely correct. We were notified about your repair on the 18th September by the manufacturer and received the part to repair your oven on Thursday 24th September. This is only 6 days from the point of us receiving the job to the part arriving at our warehouse. Please remember that we are living and working through a pandemic and most businesses are still operating from home or with reduced staff. As hard as we all try, this causes logistical delays. All your dealings so far have been with the manufacturer and not Detlev's directly so the endless phones calls have not been with us. You also live one hour out of Canberra which makes scheduling your job challenging.
Like all businesses, we are trying our best in these difficult times and your negative comments have made us reconsider all future out of town travel.

Poor communication, failing to meet commitments, lengthy delays and a lack of honesty. I have been waiting seven weeks for a simple dryer repair. Have had to chase them to confirm assessment and repair dates, technicians are no show. They don't answer the phone when called, nothing by long holds followed by a recorded message that they are unavailable, and they don't return voicemails/e-mails. Then they claim that they tried to contact me and "didn't hear back" - an outright lie. This has now happened on multiple occasions! If they were not required by my letting agency, I would not be working with them, and would certainly never recommend them to anyone.

Arrogant electrical Nazis. Not all that competent. Good at plain electrical, bad at anything non electrical. Price gougers. Hit you heavy on variations. They wanted 1300 for the extras. Original contract 560. Not customer oriented. Second generation outfit.

I received a quote ($566) for range hood repairs in my rental property which was accepted and paid. 18 months later when accessing the property I realized the work hadn't been carried out. When the supplier was contacted they said work could not be complete due to cabinetry needing to be removed that would need to be done by me. A refund was offered less their $165 'quote fee if not going ahead with repairs' fee. Total unprofessional and unethical.

Had several jobs done by Detlev. Excellent quality work, punctual, efficient, honest. Highly recommended. Not cheap, but no-one is. Well worth the cost.
