Was confirmed through employee who spoke to the Manager that I could purchase the only Panasonic video camera left which was a display model,when I asked would there be a discount because so many customers had handle the product the employee asked me to wait a second time and said that he will check,minutes later he returned and said "I'm afraid there was some confusion and that he could not sell me the camera"??????,he then went on to say we will be getting stock in during the week and I said well I will leave my name and number and you can call me,he said it might be better if you pay now because it might be sold , I replied your stock consists of 1 video camera that may or may not be delivered before Christmas .
I knew I was getting mucked around and asked to see the faceless Manager before my daughter said lets just go to the Good Guys..I wasted so much time there and was lied to NEVER AGAIN..

When entering there are a great bunch of people there that smile and make you feel welcome. There availability to help you when ever you require make the shopping experience pleasent. Would definately shop there again when i need to buy electronics.

I went in to purchase a product for my mac book and the sales man was very knowledgable and helpful. He knew was he was talking about and offered some great advise.

Dick Smith in Fountain Gate is somewhat disappointing, particularly regarding it's staff. I went in to enquire about a printer where I waited a significant amount of time for service only for them to point me in the general direction of the printers and then be unable to answer my specific questions regarding the printers. Very disappointing, definitely not specialists, I'd only visit here if i was absolutely sure of what i wanted to purchase and was price comparing.

Has a very wide variety of electrical products. The service was pretty good compared to others. I like fact that you can try the computers before you buy.

very experienced staff, helped out alot with my choice in computer services. provided me with knowledge on the product i was purchasing. showed me the options and costs difference between the available sources. was a great help and saved me alot of money in the end
